Google coffee prop 65. This is a blanket warning required by the state of California. The chemical they are "warning" about is acrylamide, not lead. It naturally occurs in some foods when cooked at high temperatures, coffee being one. You can go on google scholar and see case studies on it. The chemical is not well researched yet, but in 2010 the nonprofit Council for Education and Research on Toxics filed a lawsuit against a handful of coffee companies and now they require the warning on coffee products. It tasted like a mix of a commercialized matcha mermaid drink and coffee with hazelnut creamer. I drank the mixture mid-day and didn't really feel the jitters I normally do when drinking coffee. I also wasn't awake fairly late like usual when I drink coffee by itself. It's kind of crazy. The other reviews weren't kidding about the size of the container and the amount of powder inside. It's fairly the same size as a standard baking powder small tin, and from eyeballing it, the amount of the powder doesn't even reach the halfway point of the container. Truthfully, I was taken back when I first recieved and opened it. I thought it was tampered with yntil I read some of the other reviews.
