There are no instructions but from what I understand the syringe that came with “marrow” is meant to refill it, but I have to cut it open? The pediatric trainer had no marrow filler in the bone and the skin was too thick for a manual or drill IO in the pediatric size. This trainer does however simulate the feeling of inserting an IO very well. Since aspiration of marrow is not required as a confirmation of placement, I still see it as a useful training tool. I was very excited to find this product at such a great price.
