TV LED Backlights USB LED Strip Lighting for 60 65 inches Behind TV

Compared to the one other LED strip that I have, this one is much better quality; it looks like it will last a good long while. What you'll receive: one 118 inch long string of 54 LED lamps on a sticky-back tape (about one LED every 2 inches) -- three corner pieces about 6 inches long -- one remote control -- one user pamphlet/warranty card. The sticky-back tape holds well to the plastic back on my TV; I did clean the area where the strip is mounted with rubbing alcohol; there's no danger of it falling off or coming loose. The LED strip comes in four sections -- two sections are 19 inches long, and the other two sections are 40 inches long. All four sections are connected with the corner pieces. My LED strip came completely assembled on a plastic reel, so all I had to do was reel it out and take the paper off the back of the tape to install the entire strip. My TV is a 50 inch diagonal model, so the LED strip was mounted about an inch from the edges on the back of the TV. It fit perfectly around all four sides, and the length of the pieces corresponds to the 16:9 aspect ratio of just about all modern flat-panel TV's. Made a professional looking job, and took less than 15 minutes to install. I plugged my strip into one of the USB jacks on the TV; the one marked 1A. There is also a USB jack labelled .5A (1/2 amp), but this is not enough current to power the strip; you need to make sure you use the 1 amp USB jack. This strip allows for several different solid colors (all four sections are the same color), or you can get the colors to alternate, flash, and do other fancy things, none of which I did because I simply wanted the white color back light. There are a couple different "shades" of white color, so you can choose the one you like. Since it's plugged into the TV, I don't need to bother with the remote; the light strip turns on when the TV is turned on, and turns off about 30 seconds after the TV is turned off (this length of time may be different for different TV's, depending on how they power down their USB ports). My TV is mounted with a flexible arm mount so I can alter its' overall location, but it is NOT mounted against the wall; it's on the front of a large entertainment center that I adapted for the TV. About a foot behind the TV are hundreds of vinyl record albums on shelves, so I don't get any "wall reflection" from the LED strip. So I have my LED strip set to the brightest level, and it really is quite bright around all four sides of the TV with the rest of the room lights turned off. This LED strip really does provide an improvement in TV watching. We binge-watch a lot of old series, and our eyes are no longer tired after many hours of steady viewing, so the LED strip is doing its' job. I'm quite pleased with the result, and I can recommend this LED strip without any reservation no matter what type of ambient lighting you're trying to achieve. (For those who keep asking, this LED strip does NOT change colors with the colors being broadcast by the TV! There is an ambient light strip that does this, but it's very difficult to implement, only works with a very few TV's, and is extremely expensive!)

My husband and I bought a new LG 4K 55" TV for us for Christmas. We had a similar light strip on our old TV but it covered only the top of the TV. This one goes around the entire back of our new TV. We generally watch TV in the evening with the lights out in the room. This light strip creates a soft aura of light at the back of the TV that reduces eye strain and looks so nice in a dark room.I read the many reviews before buying this light strip, and it seems some come with corner pieces, and some do not. Ours is one continuous strip and did not come with corner pieces. To install it, I cleaned the entire outer edge of the back of the TV with alcohol. To install at the corners, I looped the strip to make the corners and install on the adjacent side. This strip covered the entire perimeter of the back of the TV. I plugged it into one of the USB ports on the TV, and it goes on when we turn on the TV.When I first got it, it stayed on when the TV was turned off, so I thought the TV USB ports might be powered all the time, and unplugged the light strip. One night I decided to leave it plugged in, and in the morning the lights were off. I found that it takes a few minutes for the power to the USB ports to shut down.The RF remote works great to choose colors, brightness, strobe patterns, etc. Really, once you find a setting you like, most likely you will leave it there. It is nice to be able to set the lighting up initially without having to have a direct line of sight to the controller. At this point, I couldn't be happier with this backlight for our TV. It's surprising how quickly you can get spoiled to having a light behind your TV when you haven't had one before. Once you have one of these, you will never want to be without it.I hope this review was helpful for you.

I have a 65" TV and this led strip light was the perfect length for it. Overall was easy to install. It doesn't include 90 degree corner pieces like I have seen with some other strip lights but if you don't mind just bending it like I did then it will work just fine. I did have to go over the wall mount thats behind the TV as there is no other way to go under it since the metal would slice it but I don't plan on taking it off any time soon. The color effects are nice. They have several different modes. They change colors very rapidly so it would be nice if they had a slower effect when changing colors. Overall love the lights!!

The lights work great, the remote had no issues connecting, plenty of brightness settings. The adhesive seems to stick well. If you power them with the tv they turn on automatically. The only complaint I have is there is an audible high pitch noise when the lights are on. The good news is I can only hear it if the dim is not on the lowest or highest setting. I like it on the highest setting so it’s ok. It’s not loud or intrusive but it’s noticeable and hard to miss.

Easy installation, clear instructions, looks great! Ordered and fits my 65” TV w about 1’ to spare. Seller states strip can be cut but I did not. Remote works well and ample color choices, there are many other features I probably will never use (flashing, fade, etc). I found “bending” around the corners not difficult-smaller TVs may need tighter bends however. I don’t review products often but this one deserves 5 stars.

I was recommended this by a friend. I love it. I turn it on almost every time I watch TV. It makes great mood lighting and can add a fun accent to any show with the different colors it can produce. Install was easy enough, but be careful, as the adhesive is incredibly sticky and makes re-running the strip very hard, so plan it out well first. Best done with the TV off the wall. (Which I should have done, but I got by with my extendable wall mount and struggling more than I needed to.)My only problem is the small size of the remote, which is about the size of 5 credit cards stacked up, making it super easy to slide between the couch cushions and lose.Also be sure you select the correct size! I had to swap mine out because I ordered the wrong size at first, not thinking about it.

I just got this yesterday to go along with my new tv. The lights work great. The adhesive seems be sticky enough (so far). The remote works even from far away. I have it plugged in to the tv usb port (both ports worked for me) ... and it still works even when the tv is off (see purple pic). I have a Sony 75" and it covers all 4 sides, with enough lighting to spare (5 inches or so extra). And yes I did place the lights close to the edges,... no need to move towards the center.The individual LED lights are spaced about 2" apart. I wish they were closer. other than that... great product. Ordering two more for some friends.The individual LEDs are spaced about 2 inches apart. Lights are great.. remote does only working you point it behind the TV.. and adhesion was non existent but I had things to put it up.. minor things that don't really bother me

While the lights now work like thay are supposed to I was about to return them as they would not work off the remote control. I changed out the battery in the remote and they worked as normal. The battery supplied in the remote was flat. Other than that they are what they are.

No problem it is what I was looking for I recommend.

I like the lights but I can’t use them because the remote control doesn’t work is there a way of turning the flashlight lights of without the remote? Or can the seller send me another remote?EDITgot a replacement not just the remote but new lights as well, they’re still a bit temperamental but I only really wanted it on one colour light which it is, so I’m happy with. The seller was more then happy to send a replacement
