I am 34D. The medium was truly a compression/sports bra. Held me in place and great support. Too tight for everyday wear though. I loved the design of this, so I bought a size large to wear as a regular bra. The larger size is perfect for that.If you are looking for a comfortable daily bra, size up. I wear a 34B in Victorias Secret (Body) bras. I bought a Medium (sized up according chart recommendations). This bra was snug and kept everything in place. It was not so snug that my workout was uncomfortable, but I would say it's too snug to be wearing all day. Someone with a larger cup size could definitely fit comfortably in a Medium, but I'm not sure about those with a larger band size. I bought this bra because I struggle with taking off my sports bras after a workout (I have an injured wrist that does not bend well). Although this one has a back clasp, I did not find it to be too much easier. This bra is lightly lined - the padding is not excessive, but ensures you have some shape and no nipple show-thru. The light padding is permanent so you won't have to worry about readjusting or searching for the pads after each wash. I highly recommend this bra.
