Cosori Coffee Espresso Grinder Electric, Food Grade Stainless Steel Blades, 12 Cups, Black

I bought an electric kettle, a coffee grinder and a air fryer all from the brand Cosori. All works excellent and designed with great materials

After 18 years with a Krupp grinder and only 2 years with its replacement, I decided to chuck the oval design and take a chance with a round grinder. This little beauty is well engineered. I use it to powder my ground coffee for pour-over brewing and could not be more pleased with how clean and easy it is compared to the old German style of Chinese appliance production. The materials and execution used in the COSORI are excellent. As nearly as I can figure, the nicely molded plastic is linear polyethyene. This is a far cry from the ubiquitous methy methacrylate used for the Krupp and other mass produced, small appliances from the Pacific Rim. When I rotate the motor by hand, it has a cogging feel, indicating that it is a direct drive-permanent magnet affair. Again, this is a massive improvement over the ancient, series wound, AC/DC "fan" motors of a (thankfully) bygone era. I like the snap rotation for seating the cup and the cover. The switch is ergonomically pleasant to use and because of the silicone gasketing, there is no far flung scattering of finely ground coffee with the benefit that cleanup is a breeze. Well, literally a "blow"! I just brush the powdered grounds into my cone and a puff of air into the chamber and the cap leaves the grinder fresh and clean for the next morning. Okay, the cord is a little stiff but no worse than any other, and will probably wear better than a softer one. The PM motor is well balanced and considerably quieter than its predecessor. Longevity is yet to be evaluated so if this puppy is still going strong in 10 years, I will get back to you. In the meanwhile, no news is good news and I'm a happy camper.

I had to replace our prior Bodum coffee bean grinder, because the on/off switch kept malfunctioning, making it impossible to start. I decided to try this Cosori model, because it had the handy feature of being able to be taken apart for thorough cleaning. From the start, it was obvious that the Cosori model had a much stronger, heavier motor than the Bodum one, and better quality components all around. The Cosori model is much quieter while operating; it doesn't wake up my family when I grind my coffee beans. Previous grinders had left a dusting of ground coffee around the machine, probably due to having to invert the grounds into the lid to transport them to the coffee filter for brewing, This better Cosori model eliminated that problem, because the grinding basket remains upright as you twist and remove the cup, making it simple to carry to the filter without any mess. It comes with a handy brush to cleanly get all the grounds neatly into the filter basket. Also included in this Cosori grinder are extra silicone seals and a lid for the grinding basket, but I haven't needed to use any of those items yet. I feel confident that this grinder will serve my family well for a long time and I highly recommend to to others.

One day I had the urge to start using a French Press for my coffee. Thus started a buying spree for anything I might need to make it happen. This coffee grinder was my first purchase. It's not fancy, but fancy isn't required. It works well, with one slight gripe. This is a ME problem, and likely not an EVERYBODY ELSE problem. I'm an adult female, and I have small hands. Not freakishly tiny - but smaller than average, I'd say. Because of that, I do find it a bit difficult to grasp the base of the grinder while securing the clear plastic lid that covers the bean receptacle. It's a skosh too broad in diameter. My hands are small enough that it's pretty tough get a purchase on the base and the lid, allowing me to turn until click. I manage, but it's not a breeze. Other than that - I am enjoying the purchase.

This is an incredible little grinder! I tried another brand which lasted about three uses. I exchanged it for the same unit with the same result…junk. I then selected this item. I’ve now been using it for 2 1/2 years without a problem. It is tough! I go through a bag of coffee every 2-3 weeks. That’s a lot of coffee, with no issues. I highly recommend this grinder and will buy again if this one ever wears out.

Love this grinder! It works great for a fresh ground coffee every morning. I also love how it can be taken apart and comes with a lid for storing the coffee you grind with the secondary lid. Whoever made this, thought of the little things.

This was sent to my son, who wanted freshly ground coffee at home. It works well and he is very pleased with it. He especially likes that he can choose what size of grounds, from fine to coarse, as well as seeing the amount he has through the clear cover of this grinder. Great little grinder!

I bought this for grinding coffee beans for espresso and it is perfect; grinds are nice and fine. The best feature is that the grinding cup is removal with a smaller lid for storage. I have had a few grinders over the years and this is by far the best!!
