Review: The best battlefield in a long time - So first off as someone who has played battlefield since the very beginning and has played every battlefield released to date, this is definitely one of the most stable releases, I've ever seen. I've had very few online errors and after the horrible release of BF4, it's a breath of fresh air. The campaign is actually pretty good though it is a bit short and just uses the same maps from the online portion. I do wish the campaign was a bit longer and had some more unique areas but it's still quite fun. It's a huge improvement over the campaigns of the last few games actually. The multiplayer is the main part of the game obviously and it's a ton of fun. It's very much built around teamwork and squad-play. You won't pose much of a threat if you're on your own so you should probably look elsewhere if you don't like working with your team. This game basically requires it if you want to win matches. The classes are actually pretty balanced as each class only really excels in certain situations. Assualt is good for close quarters and fighting vehicles. Medics are good at medium range combat and they can revive and heal people. Scouts post long-range threats but aren't very dangerous up close and have few useful support items other than spotting flares which light up enemy positions for a short amount of time, and lastly support has suppression capabilities so they excel and mowing down large numbers of people or blocking doorways with constant fire and they can also use mortars and give their teamates ammo. Personally, I love it. No one class is a god-tier class capable of mowing down all the others. You can't just run in and kill ten people without reloading. You're lucky if you can kill two or three without reloading in a great situation. It's very well done and forces you to focus more on objectives to win rather than just playing for kills. As for the game modes, operations mode is very interesting and is essentially like rush mixed with conquest. One team tries to take two flags a series of times and if they fail, they'll gain a behemoth for the next try which will generally help them push forward and take the flags. It's very well done. Conquest and rush still exist and conquest is still very much my favorite game mode. The new game mode carrier pigeons isn't bad but it's a bit tiring. It's very fast paced but worth trying once or twice to see if you like it. I'm not a fan of team deathmatch so I'm not going to touch on it here. If you like it, feel free to play it, but it's really not the main game made for battlefield. Conquest is where the real action happens and it;s very intense. You'll find yourself constantly under fire when you try to storm flags and you'll see constant explosions all around you. Vehicles are done differently than in 4 with each time now receiving a number of vehicle tickets they can spend at the beginning and after a reset time when a vehicle is taken out. This means your team has to carefully pick which vehicles you use because you may only get one or two tanks or one or two planes and if your team grabs all light tanks and fighters, you'll be at a disadvantage to a team with a heavy tank, a landship, a bomber, and an attack plane. Again, teamwork is very important and vehicles should be the number one target when you're up against them. A single heavy tank can roll over dozens of people largely untouched if he has one or two guys who can repair him and the same goes for the landship. The light tank poses a big threat to infantry but is fairly easy to kill for only one or two assault players and thus isn't terribly valuable except in infantry heavy combat. The planes are very well done. Each one excels at a specific role much like every other thing in this game and you have to play up their strengths in the right situations to win but you always need to be careful of flak cannons which can knock you out of the air fast. Artillery guns are a new an interesting feature as well and they're pretty cool and they actually pose a big threat to people since they have massive splash and can kill vehicles fairly easily. Overall, this is an amazing game, Pick it up. You won't regret it.
Review: BF1 hits a Home Run - I've had this game for a few weeks now and I can now offer up my opinion on the game from what I have played so far. This game is amazing. There is an added layer to the game that is lacking in the Call of Duty franchise counterpart. There are aspects to the game that can apply to any game-play style. The primary classes consist of Assault, Medic, Support, and Scout. The Assault class are more for those who like to run and gun with high rate weapons that are effective in closer combat scenarios. They also pack anti vehicle weapons that can really help yourself in a outgunned scenario. The Medic class is more of a mix between Assault and Support. This class offers the added benefit of attacking at longer ranges while also gaining the ability to heal and revive your teammates. Support class is more of a mix class to play as well. They offer larger weapons with large magazines to lay down lots of suppression fire when taking or defending in game objectives. This class offers the added benefit of giving your teammates more ammunition and specialty arms like grenades. Last the scout class is for those who like to engage an enemy at a distance. This class offers a range of sniper rifles that can be effective at engaging enemy's at various distances. All of these classes coupled with in game extra class pick ups (sentry kits of a flamethrower and heavy machine gun) and vehicle classes make the game interesting and unique. There is a class and game style that anyone can play in this game and be successful with. Pro's: - Campaign story and multiplayer matchmaking. The campaign isn't exactly needed but its a nice bonus to fill the gaps of too much online playing. - Incredible graphics audio in game sounds. Whether in campaign or matchmaking the graphics are unique and cinematic. No detail has been left out, even when it comes to in game destruction interacting with the environment. The in game audio is superb as well, I found myself in many situations online hearing an enemy approaching to better take out the threat. - With the update from 11/15 we are seeing a better match making interaction as well as in game improvements that were desperately needed with certain class glitches and over/under powered weapons. - Large multiplayer teams with large and extensive maps of all types (hardcore mode coming soon) - Extensive experience points to be gained during the match. Anything from marking an enemy, suppression fire, capturing objectives etc. all count toward your score and final experience points at the end of the game. Con's: - In game multiplayer glitches still exist but are minor since the patch of 11/15. - Bad spawn points. In game they still have several bad spawn points where the game will place you right in front of an enemy with you having no time to react. Spawn on a team mate in your squad when possible. Overall this game is incredible and highlights all the main weaponry and maps that were prevalent in WWI. The dynamic of each game is unique and there are plenty of options on who you want to play each one. It leads to hours of enjoyment that makes you keep coming back for more. Definitely Recommend!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First BF1 game...
*by D***C on November 13, 2016*

For being the first BF game I have owned, I have to give it to DICE and EA. This is a great game, with wonderful graphics and sound design. From the rain (and seeing it on your weapon), to the sandstorms, and wind, the dynamic weather is gorgeous and should be praised. Multiplayer is a blast and fun for days could be had, especially if you are with a squad. Going from COD to this, there is a learning curve I had to adjust to but I can say it shouldn't take too long with a little focus (and the right weapon for YOU). The recoil in this game is lovely, and is appreciated for its realism. So many games take recoil out, and it's nice to see a game implement it and add a challenge to a generation of games that have become too casualized. There is a campaign in this game, and I cannot comment on it as I have not played it (yet) but it is separated into 6 different mini-stories. I'm so focused on the multiplayer, I haven't gotten to it yet. As a consumer, I am happy with this product and would recommend it at full price....if you want to wait, Black Friday and Christmas deals are around the corner, so I'm sure you could get a good price drop on it.
