I bought these based on Amazon reviews. I find that I am limiting myself because paints are so expensive that I just put a tiny dab on pallet, then can't do any interesting strokes or alla prima. So I figured I would try these - large tubes, good price. Reviews indicated they had decent opacity. I tried them yesterday and was very pleased! Very creamy, nice oil content, good opacity. Hope to do some nice thick alla prima this week and really use some paint! It was a nice feeling to squeeze out a big glob and not worry that I just used half a tube! Color range was incomplete, I still had to supplement with other paints for burnt umber, sap green, and a few others, but the range provided was decent and there were a few interesting colors too. I bought the second largest range. Negatives = you can't buy individual tubes here so when I run out of white I am going to have to use other brands. Like I said, color range was incomplete but usable. Overall I would rate it a BUY, especially for tube size and cost.

Positives : Very vivid neon colors . Large tubes. Fair price. Negatives : Does not handle like conventional oils. Dries in a matter of minutes, even in cool weather . I find , in order to slow the drying time, I have to add linseed oil, or mix it with a similar color of a name brand oil paint .

Very nice and vibrant. A bit on the thin and transparent side so they require a build up for maximum color effectiveness but overall a good buy.

I paint T shirts and its difficult to bring the colors up to be brillant. These paints make them pop. I love them. They are a bit transparent but they still give me the added spark I need to my paintings. I think they're well worth the money. An update on these paints. I still love love them. I've learned they dry faster than traditional paints so I only put out what I can use in a day or even less. I can go to the color and I don't have to mix it to get what I want. Almost like acrylic paints for shirts. I love that they're not traditional colors. I painted the tops of the tubes so I know what the colors are. I agree I would like to be able to purchase the Colors individually. I use some much more than others. I must give them a try!

Quality for the price is superb. Have used their watercolors for a few years am only not in love with the new brand packaging I liked the original packaging of their products much better. Great sets to get started except I found their acrylic line is the only one that is not great. The watercolors and oils though are great. Downside is off brand color names and not available open stock in states so upgrading to artist quality professional paint as I gain experience with these wonderful paints. Also seen this brand expand substantially from just watercolor to oil acrylic and pastels but why no pencil lines? Thanks just a suggestion

I got this set because I needed to replace my reds and this was the cheapest version with lots of paint left over. I was so impressed by the creamy and rich consistency. I normally do mix my paint but this one you don't really need too. The colors are super vibrant and no need for extra mixing which is rare for oil paints. I really did like them so I will keep on buy thing this brand. I do love their watercolors but so far the creamiest student oil grade paint.

Doesn’t seem to be like a professional oil neon set. It is kind of use immediately out of the tube kind of vibe, the more you let it sit it forms a sticky texture and then dries off pretty quick..unlike the regular oil paint

I’m totally in love with these colours. Have only had time to swatch them. But go on beautiful on heavy paper. Can’t wait to try on a canvas.
