10 Lbs Mushroom Popcorn Kernels

These kernels do NOT pop into round pop-corns! They pop the same as any other kernels. I was quite looking forward to the happy oddity of round popcorns, but it didn't happen! I love eating popcorn, I eat a huge bowl all to myself, every day, and I'm always promoting popcorn-eating to people around me; offering up my delicious popcorn to others, friends and strangers. I thought this round stuff would make the healthy experience seem even more attractive. So I ordered 16 pounds of it! I was sorely disappointed. It makes OK popcorn, but not round, so why bother ordering it? Plus I suspected some of the bags were very old, because they didn't pop into crisp popcorn; instead some bags popped into stale-ish, soft mushy popcorn, like when you leave the potato chip bag open all night. False advertising!!!

This popcorn does not live up to the name or the claim. Almost all were traditional "butterfly" type popped corn. There is another product on Amazon Sold by Just poppin' that is far better. The drawback is that the hulls are prominent but the corn pops so big, you can bite it like a mini apple!

I purchased this popcorn to make kettlecorn. The kernal shape didn't appear to be much different than regular store-bought popcorn. Not the round shape that I was hoping for. The product came in ten one-pound bags and two of the bags had ruptured during shipping. There was popcorn all over the inside of the shipping box and all over the floor of my house when I opened it.

I was worried a little by the other reviews, but this came well packaged and pops up in mushroom shapes. I have tried it in the microwave and an air popper. The air popper give a little bigger, better results. Fresh and tasty! Did not disappoint :)
