Only had to apply the wheels and steering wheel etc. It had a quarter of battery charged, enough for the little one to play with. Charger works great. No indication of the vehicle charging other than it not turning on for safety reasons. But it IS charging (Check the "clock" on the digital display, that's in minutes). Overall a durable car. After having a dissapointed kid at christmas from another seller with a different car that came faulty. This has made up for it. Thank you!
