Great solar charger. So far this charger works great! Game changer not having to get a ladder out and change the battery when it dies.

bought this product in June 2023, its now September 2023 and the product stopped working. From June til now this product was A++++ never had issue, very easy to install and keep my Arlo camera charged. After 2 months now it stopped charging my camera and now i am pass my return/replace window. If there is anything that can be done about replacing the product would be great. Overall the product was great.

Per the instructions, I connected the solar panel to the camera with a fully charged battery installed. The real test came with the remnants of Hurrican Ian. In Virginia, we had six consecutive days of 100% overcast conditions with rain. On average, the camera turned on 4-5 times per day including at least once every night that turned on the light. With no sun to charge the battery, after six days, the battery was at 81%. When the sun returned, by the end of the day, the battery was once again at 100%. I would recommend this solar panel that will now save me from climbing a ladder and swapping the battery every 2-3 months. I'll probably buy a couple more for the other cameras that have a southern exposure.

It does charge your Arlo Pro 3. It has to have direct sun. Shade wont do it! I had to exchange one because the charging cord was finicky. Also read that several had problems with the cord. Now the one I have now seems to have No issues and is working quit well. * It has to have direct sun* The only negative I have is the mounting! Mine is drilled and anchored into my mortar between the bricks. The screw that fastens to the solar panel is queer. The tightening piece on the mount is also queer. What I mean by this is you can tighten it as best you can but it is still loose. The ball joint in the mount allows it to pivot in different directions for you whether you chose for the panel to hang straight up and down or sideways, it’s finicky and has issues staying tight! Tighten the best you can and walk away. I’m sure strong winds will end up turning or even loosening the tightening screw. If you have one, this makes perfect sense because it’s just how it’s made. Reinforcement needs to be taken back to the drawing board and a better idea needs to be placed!

These charge even if it’s overcast. The screenshot was on the day of the big blizzard prediction 2-22-2026 and you can see it was very overcast and was still charging. Saves me from getting on ladder and swapping batteries out.

Not sure if it's the solar panel itself or the camera battery; I have the Pro 4 cameras. From what I've read it is actually both the camera and the solar panel. What you don't hear from Arlo is that the battery will only charge if the battery and/or the solar panel are over 32 degrees. That isn't the air temp, it's the actual temp of the hardware. For example if you have a cold night in the low 20s or below, your battery will most likely not charge the next day; even if the day time temp is in the mid 30s. The daytime temps have to be high enough to warm the battery and solar panel over 32 degrees. I live in Southwest Ohio and these cameras with solar chargers are almost useless all winter. I actually went with the Arlo camera and solar panel because I wanted cameras in locations without easy access to power. According to Arlo I should run power to the cameras and remove the batteries... The exact opposite of the reason I purchased these. The cameras are said to work to -4 degrees but again the battery will not charge below 32 degrees; and again that is device temp not air temp. On a day at 34 degrees with a light breeze the cameras would not charge. The cold wind keep the camera too cold to charge with electric charger attached. The cameras said they were connected to the charger but they remained at 1 percent for several days. So basically the only way to keep the cameras working during the winter is have regular house power and a charge to each camera and remove the battery. I would not have purchase any Arlo cameras or solar panels if I had know how they worked together in cold weather. There are a lot of people online making these same comments.

Replacements for a couple of chargers that a hail storm took out. Easy to install, quality product from Arlo. Takes about 4-6 hours in full sun to charge completely. Will absolutely order again the next time hail takes them out.

I have one Arlo camera that is in an hard to reach place and another in a high-traffic area that runs out of battery frequently. Even with XL batteries, the camera looking at my driveway will often die after just a few weeks or less. So I bought two solar panels and installed them a few weeks ago. They are integrated directly into the app. So you see when sun is hitting the panel (see icons in green on the photo) and whether it’s changing. If the camera hits 100%, charging stops. My driveway camera was at 52% when I added the solar panel. It’s now hovering around 100% after less than a week. So even with all the activity it’s more than enough energy to keep the camera charged. And this is a solar panel on the north side of the house so I have to be tricky to aim it for maximum sun. The other camera is on an east side, so plenty of sun. If it’s not clear, you still need a battery in the camera for it to work. I’m not considering a third for another high traffic area. I can’t speak to longevity, but if that changes, I will update. I am very happy so far, to the point of getting nerdy and texting friend about how well it charged the two cameras.

Panneau solaire qui permet de maintenir la batterie de la caméra chargée. Néanmoins il est nécessaire de charger complètement la caméra car le panneau solaire ne suffit pas en lui même pour la charger complètement. Je suis satisfaite de mon achat car j’en avais marre de devoir recharger aléatoirement ma caméra qui selon la météo, les mouvements captés pouvait se décharger en quelques jours à peine. Compatible avec la Caméra Arlo Pro5S

Piccolo, originale, black è anche elegante da vedere. Funziona perfettamente, facilissimo da installare al muro, arriva corredato delle sue viti per l’installazione. L’accessorio non serve per ricaricare la cam Arlo, ma per mantenere la carica. Io l’ho collegato con la cam completamente carica, ed a distanza di tempo risulta perfettamente carica al 100%. Consigliato vivamente per chi possiede le cam arlo. Inutile gironzolare su prodotti paralleli…ne ho presi due compatibili prima di questo e sono durati praticamente niente! L’originale Arlo si percepisce già la qualità del prodotto al tatto. Ed il magnete del connettore si aggancia alla perfezione alla cam. Cavo abbastanza lungo per facilitare l’installazione. Pienamente soddisfatto.

I use it with Arlo pro 4 cameras. For now there is no need to Extra charge my cameras. It is always overcharged and it keeps it on 100 % .
