As they are, they are irritating. I'll explain:Pros:- The inner lining is wonderful and eliminates the need to wear underwear with these. The lining is very soft and stretches. It does not constrain the genitals, but it nicely holds them in place. This is helpful if you are doing yoga or other activities where you want your junk held in place.- They are solidly designed by a responsible company, Prana.Neutral:- They look like normal gym shorts. Nothing special about them.Cons:- They have only one pocket that is very difficult to get into. It is small and the velcro takes up most of the opening. Taking anything out of this pocket is a hassle.- The waist band is wrinkled. I am adding a photo to this review, please see it for details. Because this material is not pure soft cotton, the wrinkles in the waist band dig into my skin, making it very, VERY uncomfortable. After wearing these for longer than 15 minutes, I have marks on my waist from the waistband on these shorts.- The price of the shorts.I ended up returning mine because of the cons. For the price of these shorts, I would expect a pocket that is better designed and a waistband that does not hurt my skin. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Made in China *by B***M on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on May 10, 2011* I had originally ordered the Mediums but they were too small. I am tall and wear size 32 jeans. The Medium shorts were very small around the waist and in length. I sent them back and reordered the Large. What I received in return was almost an entirely different product all together. The Mediums were made in the USA and seemed to be of high quality. It's unfortunate they didn't fit.... The Large ones fit better despite the spandex underneath being too wide for my legs... but the shorts are different. They are now made in China and I believe any new order from Amazon will get this Chinese version as the old stock is likely sold out at this point. Don't be fooled by the price, you get what you pay for. Instead of getting a discount, you're getting a different product. I paid $27. The shorts are similar to the ones pictured but there are differences. The stitching is different and is now solid black on black. The material feels inferior and the tags are different on the new shorts. I am disappointed, but if I pretend that I never saw the made in USA version, these shorts are OK for the price I paid. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Yoga Shorts *by B***L on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on October 13, 2015* I purchased these shorts for my husband who is just starting a yoga practice. He is 6' 1" 180 lbs.....and the large fit perfectly. He had been trying to wear his athletic shorts but in many poses and stretching he was constantly having to pull them down. These shorts are perfect in every way......he says they are comfortable, lightweight, easy to move in and the inner liner is also very soft and comfortable....not too tight....just perfect to make sure he is covered and modest regardless of the pose. Lastly....the shorts look great. They are long, loose enough and stylish enough for wearing on errands while going back and forth to practice.
