Munchkin Gentle Transition Sippy Cup, 10 Oz, Blue

These were so helpful transitioning my infant from bottle to sippy cup. They still have that suction like effect like a bottle does and they are nice and big for older babies. The only thing that I have noticed that could be improved is after sucking on them for a period of time, the air seems to get ‘trapped’ and the nipple recedes a bit. All you have to do is pull the nipple and you can hear the air release though so it’s no big deal.

I have tried several cups with my 1-year-old, and the Munchkin Gentle Transition Sippy Cup is the first one he will actually drink his milk out of. He had been very attached to his bottle and refused milk from every other cup we tried, so finding this one was a huge win for us. What makes this cup different is the soft spout. It feels much more like a bottle nipple, which made the transition so much easier for him. He took to it almost immediately and there was very little frustration compared to other sippy cups we tested. I also love that it’s spill-proof. I can hand it to my child without worrying about milk ending up all over the floor, furniture, or himself. The handles are easy for little hands to hold and the cup is simple to clean. The spill-proof design and soft silicone spout are key features of the cup. Overall, if you’re struggling to get your little one off the bottle, I highly recommend giving this cup a try. It made the transition so much smoother for us and it’s now our go-to cup for milk.

Not totally spill proof; but spill proof - my little one somehow spilled water from it by squeezing the silicone at the tip while it was turned upside down. Mind you; this bottle is otherwise typically spill proof (if it’s being thrown around or when turned upside down without the silicone being squeezed). Overall great for teething babies - it’s a great first time sippy cup.
