Lol rainbow puke! On Windows 11 it holds whatever the active login setting was for me.

why would you purchase the puck outside of charging on dock?

The puck can be charged using almost any type of wireless charger. The Razer specific dock is only necessary if you don't have a wireless charger or like the magnetic feature that holds the mouse in place.
