I bought three of these at once and I am highly satisfied with this product as I have been with every other SmallRig product so far. This stand is sturdy, well built, and will last for years. The wide adjustment means it will fit most any mounting surface without damaging it. I have used these to mount lights, webcams, and heavier DSLR cameras. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an adjustable desk-mounted stand.

This is a very nice very sturdy unit I mean small rig makes really nice stuff and general they are a very good company I own some camera cages and a few other things by small rig and they've always been great and this is also great

I'm a huge fan of SmallRig products, but this one is not so great. I would say the vertical pole part has a good solid clamp and all metal construction, it's very sturdy. The ball head it comes with though is not a very good one. It has a single knob that locks both the ball and pan axis which makes it more difficult to use. This surprised me because I have a number of SmallRig ballheads in my collection and this one is not as good as any of them, even the cheap ones. Recently I reviewed a similar product from another company, it was almost exactly the same except it came with a much better two-knob ballhead, the extra knob unlocks the pan axis by itself and had a nice smooth action as well. The killer was that this almost identical product was $7 cheaper than the SmallRig one and also included a carry bag. I'm pretty sure this product was not made by SmallRig, they just put their name on it. In future I think they need to be more careful with the products they pick and the prices they set. This is NOT a bad product, but it is not really up to SmallRig's standards. More expensive has a lower quality ballhead and no carry bag compared to an identical product from another company. I used this to mount a webcam on my wife’s standing desk. It’s nice and sturdy. Best solution to reduce that wobble.

its really sturdy and it holds up my sony a7c with a chonky boy lense really well. my only con is the little riser piece for the ball head has no flat spots so I had to use a pair of pliers to unscrew it, which ruined the paint. thats mostly on me though.

Seriously - it's sturdy, easy to use and the knobs are really quality. Very easy to adjust angle and height. Would definitely recommend!

Everything I've bought from this brand has been fine. I like how it's easy to attach and it stays put and it can be put to an infinity of uses. Cameras, phone holder, light holder, and so on. I keep rearranging my desk towards more minimalism, and this component has always found its place.

Good weight, durable, and doesnt take up tons of space. Easy to setup and a great addition to the home setup

I'm using this for my mirrorless camera I'm using as webcam, as I host a lot of webinars from my office desk. Very easy to set up, basically a set and forget. Easy to do quick adjustments as the mechanism is very simple.
