6-Pin to Cut-End Connector

The product is excellent. I connected it up in a few seconds. Just cut at the scissor line on the light strip and push into the box. Previously I soldered them but it's such a pain, and I had some reliability issues. Just wish they were half the price, or in smaller sets

These are easy to install and work really well. I was dubious when I read the reviews but there didn't seem to be any other options. Basically I'm using my hue lightstrip on the underside of my kitchen cabinets to illuminate my worktop, and was having difficulty getting the lightstrip to 'turn the corner'. Mistakenly, I decided to cut it, thinking I could use the wire connector in the lightstrip extension pack to flex in the corner, and was dismayed that you can't reconnect a cut end. These connectors easily slide in to the cut end of your hue lightstrip, leaving you with a suitable end to insert the pins of another strip. I thought I'd need my boyfriend to help me with removing some of the sheath or doing some soldering or something, but you literally just slide it in. I wasnt too happy with the price, so I ordered "used - very good" condition from Amazon marketplace and there were no issues at all. The connectors don't have any adhesive on them so you may want to add a command strip or something. The brightness and synchronisation of the lightstrip isn't impacted at all by using these. Good product and easy to use. I think they're kinda overpriced for what they are, but obviously this brand has cornered the market, and saved me having to replace a ~£50 lightstrip so overall I'm happy.

Used this along with the extension cable from the same brand to split our Philips Hue LED strip in two. We put the long half behind our mirror and the small bit below our cabinets. The whole thing was really easy to fit and install and it’s held us great after about 9 months of use. I would argue it’s a bit expensive for what it is so I’ve dropped it to 4/5 for that reason. However we didn’t have any other options which would allow us to do this without soldering. I’d still recommend it though. Just know you’re paying for it by the time you add the extension cables too.

First thing is IGNORE the instructions above about cutting back the outer plastic sheath on the LED strip when you cut it into pieces. The cut LED strip (at the indicated cut points) simply pushes into the connector and it won't make a proper connection if you strip it back like they show. I wasted a bunch of time and had to cut some of the outer plastic off a spare bit of the LED strip to repair the connectors I messed up following their instructions. The good news is it does work really well and I was able to split a "non extendable" Solo 3 meter strip into three separate pieces with extension cables between them. Stars deducted for inaccurate instructions and time wasted!

Bought to connect two parts of a Philips Hue lightstrip. Works exactly as intended.

They don't work like advertised. I cut my philips hue and used these connectors with the extension cables to use in my cabinets. They don't work properly. Synching is all messed up and each cut strip would either not work or light up in a different color than another strip. So basically I threw away the money I used to buy the hue cause its all cut up and unusable now.

Daylight Robbery! But they work and are of decent quality. Just wish I could solder! Five stars because they do exactly as they’re supposed to

After watching complicated ways to install under cabinet lighting using Philips Hue Lightstrip that involved ethernet cable and soldering, I wanted a simple method that would not be so challenging. These parts worked perfectly, no problem at all, with my v4 Lightstrip (Bluetooth). Everything installed without a hitch first time. there is polarity to the Lightstrip system (B-->A) so my advice is to plan the connections, cut strips to length and connect them with the various connectors end-to-end for the whole system to any wall plug (where you can get at everything easily and check it). Confirm that the plan and all the parts work. If everything works well, then run the wires through the various holes knowing that it all works.

Se adapta fácilmente a la tira, requiere de cinta doble cara aparte para poder pegarla bien. Es un poco grande el adaptador, hasta un poco más tosco que el original que viene con la tira para unir cut-Cut.

Used to patch philips hue led strips

Ich habe die Adapter zusammen mit einem 1 m Verlängerungskabel gekauft. Alles ganz einfach, Lightstrip auseinander schneiden, Adapter reinschieben und mit dem Verlängerungskabel verbinden. Ein gutes Produkt aber etwas teuer, da man für beides Zusammen fast 40 Euro hinblättert.
