Ate two of my saltwater fish. Just sucked them in and spit them out. Actually I unfortunately bought 2. Other tank 3 more fish were sucked in and spit out. 2 lettuce slugs. #2 tank crashed from the fish guts and my tank is in crisis. Update both of these wave makers just died. Unbelievable. I would go for the SLIM PRO 15000 just in case you need more flow for certain plants, and you can always turn it down. **Q: Has anyone had trouble controlling with the app? I am connected but the app controls don’t change anything. I have tried multiple times.** A: You're not alone. I've never gotten the app to work well. **Q: I would like to run 2 on a 180 gallon aquarium. What size would work and can they run opposite of each other.** A: if 2 sets for 180gal, we suggest choose the model 15000. As pump heads are controlled different controller, they work independently. so can not run opposite of each other. **Q: What’s the smallest aquarium it can be used on** A: Saltwater I've got not clue but freshwater I would say 10 gallon ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not but but not the best *by A***A on 2 February 2023* I purchased this on August 2022 and on november 2022 the Bluetooth stopped connecting to the WaveMaker i rested it and did everything i can but no luck other than that it is not bad good power for size ### ⭐ Be careful *by A***R on 2 August 2021* Not very well caged. I just wasted so much money. I had a death in my family and didn’t get them returned in time. They are dangerous to your livestock and then both of them die. I really want to get a refund. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MagTool ZKSJ Slim Pro 8000 *by J***. on 4 August 2021* The Wavemaker was delivered promptly. Neatly packaged inside the box were the wavemaker, mounting magnet, control unit, power adapter and assorted accessories to adjust the flow pattern. Also included were the installation instructions in Chinese and English. Installation is intuitive with minimal dependence on the documentation. The unit was up and running within minutes of unpacking. The critical step is installing the control app on your phone. Both iPhone IOS and Android versions are available. The instructions were clear but the English would benefit from better translation. I installed my pump in a freshwater, 4 foot, 90 gallon tank. This particular tank receives virtually no bottom current. I was hoping to agitate the debris and direct the waste to the filter intake. My hope was to diminish the need for frequent vacuuming during water changes. The pump worked great and moved waste material into the water column where the filter could capture it. As claimed by the manufacturer, it is very quiet. Depending on application, a 4 foot tank would seem to be the largest application for this motor, especially if it is mounted at either end. A center mount would seem to be more appropriate to maximize its potential. The pump is great, but as impressive is the Bluetooth control application. The interface is intuitive and loaded with features. It should easily satisfy any salt water/reefer requirements in terms of scheduling and wave patterns. In my particular application it was good to be able to pulse the flow on a scheduled basis as opposed to have it running constantly.
