These are wonderful little hooks to hang in your laundry room. The clamps work very well and hold on tight to a variety of different weights of items and the fact that they swivel makes them even more useful. Two of them will hold a good sized shirt, for example, that you would rather air dry and put in a heated dryer. Each clamp will also hold a boot or shoe. They are very sturdy and much more dependable than plastic and are also said to be rust resistant. Having 16 of them at this price is very reasonable and I can think of many other uses for them to help organize a closet for example. These are strong enough to hold heavy boots, but I bought these shiny metal clips to take on vacation. There are never enough hangers and I needed something to hang wet bathing suits, these are up to the task.
