**Q: Does this work with the main outlet (for the whisk, k beater or dough hook)? i’d like to use newer stainless steel attachments on major classic km800**
A: Hi. I used this adaptor for the new meat mincer/grinder attachment (which is a new model and does not fit on the older machine that I have). Not sure about the hooks etc. Sorry

A: I don't have a kitchen aide food grinder so I don't know about that.

Actually bought this to convert an old Cuisinart discontinued stand mixer to accept the newer Kenwood attachments. Would have worked well but found out the attachments weren’t readily available. Was able to buy quality old style Kenwood attachments that worked fine with my model without this attachment, so it was returned. Would be wonderful for anyone needing to a adapt to the newer attachments though.
