Secures well to the headboard, though the clamp and screw are far larger than necessary. The range of movement isn’t as good as I’d hoped and it’s a bit stiff, but at least it’s secure once in place (though it wobbles when you turn pages on a Kindle or iPad mini). Devices feel secure in the clamp, but damn are the springs stiff. But on the plus side, it’s surprisingly lightweight, and very easy to put together and secure in place, and very reasonably priced.

This is brilliant I have attached it to the front of my bike which I use to get back and forth to work. And shopping Attached to my handle bars, with my new iPad in situ, it’s great for watching my favourite Netflix programmes as I cycle around town. You can also use it to facilitate your iPad or iPhone as a security camera, which is very useful. If you clip this to the outside of your house, with your iPad attached obviously, then it will capture images of people at the front of your house unless you put one on the back, then it will capture images Ages of people at the back of your house house, as well. This is also great if you are an influencer and you want to film things from inside your fridge. It is also a very cost effective alternative to a drone as it can be help up very high. I’d highly recommend this product.

Remember the table lamp you had as a kid? This is built just like that. Held on to your bed with a mechanical clamp . Installing it is as easy as installing a table lamp. A kid could do it. It is as stable as you want it and as stiff as you want it as the joints are adjustable. The most important thing is though that it is almost 100% metal. The previous ones had a plastic clamp that broke after a few months due to fatigue. This one will outlive your bed. On one thing I must warn you guys though. It is NOT suitable for 8" kindle devices (like the Kindle Fire HD 8). The device holder is too wide to mount the kindle sideways and if you mount it standing the device holder clamps will press on the volume buttons. My fix was to actually use the device holder from my old broken gooseneck holder.

The main reason I bought this was because the clamp on my last tablet stand was useless and kept slipping off after a while. So when I got this and set it up, I was very pleased to find that the clamp works really well because all the clamping force goes into what it's clamped onto. However, I have a 13" Microsoft surface, and unfortunately, the mechanism that rotates and angels the tablet is really weak and fiddly, which means that it can only be used at certain angles otherwise it drops. The adjustment on the rest of it is reasonable. Although I think, being new, is very stiff.

It seems sturdy enough, but it’s so inflexible and doesn’t twist or bend side to side, you can only move it in one direction and even then the joints are incredibly stiff. Because of this it is not at all versatile - it has to go on the headboard and be positioned above you, so if you’re wanting to attach it to something on the side of your bed don’t bother with this. Because it is so stiff it is very hard to move it out of the way when you want to get up, and the screw that fixes the clamp at the end extends an inch or more, which seems ridiculous as it is designed to be positioned right next to your head while you are sleeping. Unless you have VERY specific requirements (like… a very tall headboard so that the screw will be far enough above your head to not get in the way and you won’t need to reposition it at all), this product is basically useless.

suits my needs, keep in mind the mount cannot defy physics. keep your device close to the base of support for stability and safety. Dislike: Mind you don’t jam your fingers when adjusting the arm levers! looks possible and would be painful Used for: iPad Pro 2
