The North Face

Brilliant quality and waterproof my son bought this for a trip to Thailand it’s a great size the small.

I bought it for a purpose of traveling to Asia and even that I had gone through the airport couple of times, the bag stayed untouched. It's light and comfortable for a long trips and for its size it has so much space to fit inside whatever you'd think of. Material is great and it seems that it will last for so long. Looks sick in orange !

I bought this Duffel bag prior to my Borneo trip. Although I was not sure about the size I was impressed on how many items you can fit in, especially if summer clothes. Size is also perfect to carry on your bag. Only down side is that this size does not have handles.

Great quality as ever with north face

This was bought as a gift, unfortunately the recipient didn’t check it over. Anyway one of the handles is impossible to adjust as the thing just won’t grip.

Great study, waterproof bag. Perfect for the gym. Can store all my BJJ gear or all of my Muay Thai gear no problem. Inside of the bag is bulletproof and doesn’t hold any odors from my sweaty gear after training. Easy to wipe down afterwards! Perfect

It’s good

Perfecta para complementar una colección de mochilas. Para mi está más enfocada a un viaje dónde no se tenga que cargar mucho con la mochila a la espalda ya que hay otras que cumplen mejor esta función. Ésta es muy versátil y ergonómica. Me ha gustado mucho la calidad de los materiales. Sin duda una gran compra.

Los plásticos donde se amarran las correas de los hombros vienen cosidas al revés! A la hora de meter las correas no hace tensión y con el peso se te va toda la mochila para atrás. Por ese pequeño gran detalle, estoy pensando muy seriamente regresar la mochila. La mochila se siente de buena calidad, y buenos materiales. Solo trae un compartimento lateral y uno en la parte de adentro. Pero…honestamente no sé si la volvería a comprar.

I spent quite a while deciding which size Base Camp Duffel to buy, especially with airline checked baggage limits in mind. On paper, the XL can appear a little large when fully expanded, but in practice I haven’t found that to be an issue. Because it is a soft duffel rather than a rigid suitcase, it compresses easily, and by using the compression straps it stays surprisingly compact when it needs to. Before settling on the XL, I actually purchased the XXL. That thing is enormous. You could almost pack an elephant in it! Dropping back to the XL certainly does not feel like a compromise though. There is still an impressive amount of usable space, particularly if you travel with packing cubes as I do. Each category of clothing or equipment stays organised, and the duffel simply brings everything together into one durable, easy to manage bag. I also own the Small version, and that has surprised me with how much it holds. For shorter trips I can even use it as my carry on bag instead of my North Face Fuse Box, so together the two sizes cover almost every type of travel I do. One thing worth noting is that this bag does not have wheels, which may be a consideration for some people. Personally, I have not found that to be a disadvantage because the backpack straps are very comfortable. Even when the bag is reasonably full, it carries exceptionally well and is easy to move through airports, hotels and train stations. The build quality is exactly what I expected from The North Face. The materials feel incredibly tough, the zips inspire confidence, and the reinforced construction makes it feel like a bag that will last for many years of travel. If you are trying to decide between the XL and the XXL, I think the XL is the sweet spot. It offers an enormous amount of storage while remaining practical for airline travel, and because it compresses so well it is much more versatile than the measurements alone might suggest.
