Great for the price!
I ordered this being a little skeptical that it could hold my weight (250lbs) also had concerns with my height (6'2) being an issue. The day before it arrived I got an email from the company saying that the instructions that comes with it where hard to read, and they sent me updated instructions via email. Already up a notch in my book. The power tower arrived 3 days after I ordered it....and I live in Hawaii. I was stoked. Putting it together: the instructions they emailed was super easy. Use your own tools, way easier. All the parts where there undamaged. The nuts and bolts where scattered but still in their packaging. Took an extra 10min to figure out which was what..then total time took maybe an hour to put together. Test time: definitely holds my weight plus more. It does shake just a little, but for what I paid for it I really can't complain and it was expected. It doesnt shake to the point where I can't do the exercise. If its wobbling and shaking a lot for you it may be defective or you need to check your connections. All in all great buying experience, and great product.

Product good, directions incorrect
Pro's: -product seems solid. I'm 230 and can do pull ups without fear it's going to come crashing down - It's fairly light so I can store it in the corner, and then carry it out to my workout area where my matts are when I need to do pull-ups (P90X) Con's: - the directions are not accurate. Part numbers are reversed in some cases. This made assembling it take about 3 hours instead of 1 as I had to track down the companies phone numbers (which I could never find) and call Amazon. To save folks some grief. Here is what the issues were in my instruction manual: 1) Parts "hh" and "ii" are reversed in the manual (Step 1) 2) It says use screws "dd" in Step 2. That is incorrect. You need to use "ee" 3) In Step 6, it says use "ee". That is incorrect, you need to use "dd" - Customer service. With the issue above, I tried to call the company but the line on thier web site was disconnected?? Amazon said they could send them an email but they didn't have thier contact phone either. You'd think being able to contact the company that sells goods on amazon would be required by Amazon. Overall, 4.5 stars for the product as it was cheap, seems to work, and has a small footprint. 2 stars for the manual issues.

I'm 6'7" and 297 pounds and I am very happy I purchased the Ainfox Power Tower.
Dips - When I do dips, there is no rocking or flexing of the Power Tower. It feels really solid. I've been trying to find a way to work all three heads of the triceps and those dips deliver such a nice pump. Vertical Knee Raise - The handles are a bit too close to my torso for me to use. When I use the handles, my body is pushed too high for the back cushion to support me. I've found a way to modify the exercise so that it works nicely. Pull Up and Chin Up bars - I use the tallest setting for the bar and that lets the chin/pull up bar travel forwards and backwards a little bit but once I put my weight on it, it's solid. I'm too tall to freely hang from the pull/chin up bar so bending my knees is a must. Assembly - all of the nuts, bolts, and washers come packaged and labeled nicely so that made assembly a lot simpler. The only advice I would give is that you have a socket set on hand for assembly. I'm sure that the included tools allow you to assemble the unit but after using the included tools (the two "wrenches") on a handful of bolts I realized assembly was going to take hours and I was concerned for my knuckles after a few slips of the wrench. Safety - it is very important to position the unit on a level flat surface. I have not put any sandbags or other weights on top of my Power Tower yet and I don't see a need to now that it's on a level flat surface. Capacity - If I ever get to the point where I need to wear weights when doing dips, I will be glad that this Power Tower handles 550 pounds. Delivery - The product actually arrived a day early and in excellent condition. Oily Smell - I've heard a few people mention an oily smell. I can confirm that it smells oily but it's only mildly annoying when I sniff my hands after using the Power Tower. I keep it in my two-car garage and it does not stink up the garage. For all of the people who were bothered by the oily smell, I hope that the smell dissipates over time. If I weren't so tall and heavy, I would give the product 4 stars for the few height/weight related shortcomings I mentioned above, but as someone in the 99th percentile for height and 90-something percentile for weight, I want to be fair to this fine product (with a great price).

Great for home gym
I put this together in less than 1 hour using my own tools. Everything you need is included down to the last washer even comes with tools but as I said I chose to use mine. Took a little muscle installing the bar the back cushion attaches too but other than that it's what I wanted. The smell everyone keeps mentioning comes from the brand new rubber grips could be worse doesn't bother me. If anything the smell reminds me to do a few sets on the machine where's the harm in that. It'll eventually fade. The tower will shake if you bounce when you dip but the answer to that is do your dips properly and all will be well. For the price you will get a good machine. If you want more then pay more simple as that. Oh and the shipping was great. Got the package at least 4 days ahead of the soonest date with no damages to the package or product!

Works, but has packing and quality flaws.
The product is functionally what I wanted. But there are some disturbing quality flaws that bring the rating down. I am 5’10, 235lbs. Assembled correctly, it is solid and perfect for helping to build core strength. I added some bands to help build on my pull ups, and all is good. Unpacking it, I came across rust on the inside of the bags around the metal pieces. I found rust on the floor after standing things up during assembly, and rust is visable through the screw holes on some pieces. There is a cut on one of the arm pads. Since these were in the middle on the packaging, and since I didn’t use a knife to open the package, it has to be from their end. The bushings around the pull up bar are damaged and broken on both ends. There are scratches on some of the pieces. The included “wrench/driver” tools should be chucked. I used two ratchets and a real screw driver. You will need a Phillips screw driver, and sockets or wrenches or an adjustable wrench: - two 17mm (best fit on the leg screws and nuts) - a 9/16th inch - a 1/2 inch Assembly was simple and (once tightened with proper tools) the structure became stable and good for use. The rust worries me. I don’t think I will try to get a return, because the area it’s in should be dry and further rust damage minimized. But it came prerusted. That’s not a feature like “preshrunk”.

All in all, I think it was a good purchase for me.
I've been using the Ainfox Power Tower for about 3 weeks now. I purchased it because of the weight capacity. I'm about 220 pound and can do 12 reps on the dip bar. I have to use about 25-30 pounds of weight to hold the back ends of the tower to keep it from moving/wobbling--so about 50-60 pounds of weight holding it down--in which it barely wobbles. The Ainfox Power Tower doesn't wobble much when doing pullups, which I would say it feels pretty stable and sturdy when I currently do my max of 8 reps. I fixed the height of the pullup bar so I can reach the bar with standing, just in case the pullup bar does give way. As for putting it together, the instructions with the bolts were a bit off. For example, the instructions would say use a certain letter bolt, but it doesn't match with the instruction shown. So I would just go by what I saw instead of the the instructions wanted. With that being mentioned, it was fairly easy to assemble with 2 people, even with the instructions not being precise. All in all, I think it was a good purchase for me.

BUYER BEWARE, WRONG HARDWARE, NOT SAFE
At first, I was impressed with how well this was packaged, each individual item was either lined with cardboard, or placed in its own plastic bag to avoid any scratches from shipping. As a Manufacturing Engineer, I can appreciate the little details like this that can make all the difference with the final product. Previously, I have used other styles of pull up bars that hang on your doorway, but I was extremely excited to finally have my own dedicated power tower to have in my garage. The first night I received my package, I start assembling everything so that I can complete my daily workout on my new power tower and I was disappointed to find out that it was missing an important plastic insert that connects the bottom half of the tower, to the top half (picture provided). Not ready to give up, I decided that I would continue building the power tower and order that plastic part, that way when it finally arrived, I could just drop that in place and quickly finish the assembly process. It was at this point that I realized that half of the hardware provided does not match what the instruction manual calls for (picture provided). I figure, no big deal, I can figure this out based on the pictures. Again I attempt to continue to build the power tower until I reach step 3 in the process. The nylon-insert nuts provided are the wrong size for half the bolts provided. I can literally slide the nut up and down the bolt without ever using any tools (picture provided). These nylon-insert nuts were provided to hold half of the power tower together, and they did not fit! Due to the nylon-insert they could still be assembled so that they look like they will hold, but will easily become forced apart while you are using the tower, causing a safety issue. Following the same lines as these nylon-insert nuts, half of the washers provided were grossly oversized whereas very little of the head of the bolts were engaging with the washer. Again, this made me strongly question not only the safety of the power tower, but its possible long-term, or short-term, reliability. I contacted the seller, Ainfox, with these issues because it is something that could have easily been resolved on their end. They immediately apologized for the missing plastic insert and agreed to send it from China but admitted it would take a long time to arrive. When it came down to the hardware, I asked for the hardware that I thought would be necessary, (4 new nylon-insert nuts and a complete new set of 30 washers to replace their provided oversized set). At this point they refused to provide the hardware because they claimed that it would clean out their entire warehouse. It has been close to a month since I first contacted Ainfox, and they still have not sent me the plastic part and the time is counting down to when I will not be able to return the product anymore. I can admit that this is maybe just a couple bucks of hardware at my local hardware store, but it is my firm belief that If I purchase a new product, it should (at bare minimum) come ready to be assembled because that is how it was advertised. This company does not deserve my business and I have returned the power tower. If you are someone who has already purchased this power tower, and are no longer able to return it, for your own safety, I urge you to please examine all of the hardware. If you find the same quality control errors that were present in my purchase, I would recommend that you remove the bolts out from those locations, and take them to your local hardware store to get the appropriate sizes.

Good but not great!
First off this is my first time purchasing anything like this pull station. The instructions and putting it together was a breeeze and it was definitely easy to follow the instructions. The material and build looks great and I do like the quality of the product. I weight 230-240 6’1 and I can use this without issue. Now when I do pull-ups my weight is supported and the the product does not move and I trust it which is important. When I do dips the product does sway more. When I first began doing dips it was swaying more but I believe it was do to me not not use to the movement because body weight exercises are not my strong suit. After getting my body use to doing dips I can say the sturdiness improved, however, I still noticed the product swaying. Again I trust it and it does feel as if it will break but the company should put more weight on the back end to support the persons weight on the front. The overall I am happy with the purchase and rate it 4 stars. I would recommend the purchase. Having a few home gym pieces is essential this day in age and the product is a good addition.
