The quality is fantastic. The whole case is slightly padded and has a semi rigid material that surrounds the edges that helps it maintain its shape. The front pocket is large and perfect for bigger items, but it also has two small mesh pockets for organization. The back unzips to reveal on one side an elastic band that can fit 5-6 pens/pencils, and below the elastic band is a small shallow pocket that cleverly sheaths the tip of the pen/pencil once it is slipped in the band. The other side of the back has a large mesh pocket. Please note the dimensions of the case in the specifications as it is on the smaller side (which for me was exactly what I wanted), but it does come in a larger size as well.
