Note to beginners: put these on your instrument before the instructor sees it.
Strings are the biggest upgrade you can give an instrument. Put cheap strings on an expensive violin and it will sound bad. Put nice strings on a cheap violin and it will play and sound like an expensive one. These are possibly the best playing/sounding strings at this price range. One of my children has played cello for years, the other violin. I bought Cecilio instruments for both after careful review. Each of their instructors have said the instruments were low quality toys. After comparing the Cecilios to the $1000+ instruments the school uses, I wholeheartedly disagreed. However, the stock strings are bad. After stringing the helicores the instructors are singing a different tune and I no longer have to hear about how bad the Cecilios are.

An excellent string.
Does the job very well, and stays in tune. Sounds good. I've experimented with a wide variety of strings, some quite expensive, and settled on D'addario Helicore. When getting several, though, I get them from Southwest Strings in Tucson.

I've used this brand for years. Bright sound.

Very weak sound, buy a dominant or another e string
Although the string produces a sweet tone, it's very weak. The overall volume is uneven when using all 4 strings. Don't waste your money buy another brand instead.

Son très dur
Le son est très dur, pas chaleureux. Pour le prix, il faut l'avoir comme une "corde de secours " ou vraiment pour les débutants. Pour le très bons niveaux, passez le chemin
