First of all the setup could not be any easier. I can use it with my smartphone or with my PC both features that really appeal to me. The microscope comes with a small stand which helps you to keep a steady hand if you are like me and shake a bit.The microscope itself is like a slim pen so it is light in weight and super easy to use. It has a focus point at the end you hold and an adjustment for the light halfway down the cord so you can adjust the lighting as you wish and that makes a huge difference when you are viewing things. Getting the microscope to focus is so easy and with the 200x magnification you can really get in and see the details.Not only is it educational for all ages but it is so interesting to see things from a different perspective. The microscope can even be put into water or other liquids to see things if you like. I enjoy the flexibility of being able to use it with a smartphone because it is great fun when out hiking or at the beach. What is even better is you can take still photos or video of your object to show to others or save for viewing later right on your smartphone or PC.
