(Heads up to other reviewers: if you describe the hair care product but don’t provide a description of your hair, it’s not very helpful to others reading the review. We want to get a sense of how it will work for our type of hair.) I am in my 50s. I have very soft & very fine, porous, curly hair. 2c-3a. Mix of tight waves and ringlets. I keep it about chin to bottom of neck length. 50% grey but I color it regularly (salon, single process). I usually air dry, occasionally dry upside down with a diffuser if I’m trying to get more volume. It tends to go flat on top and straighter without wetting it & applying curl product on a daily basis. I have tried a gazillion products over the years and this is always the one I come back to. My curly cut stylists keep telling me to use mousse but it doesn’t do anything for me. They tell me cream is “too heavy” for my hair—but this works great for me. Soft & springy curls. Little to no “cast” to break up. Sometimes I use a little gel too to get more definition. Scent: To me, it’s sweet/fruity. I don’t love or hate it. To me the smell fades pretty quickly.
