Perfect and inexpensive solution for labelling cables
Perfect for identifying cables in crowded equipment cabinets or audio/video/internet cabinet as in my case. Very well designed--some characteristics that I liked: - Very easy to write on with ball point pen or marker (good texture so no skipping, smudging or streaking). (I didn't used it in a printer.) - Doesn't tear easily (it's a kind of "plasticized" paper") - Enough space for several words - Good design so writing appears on both sides of the tab, and the long extender that wraps around the cable gets inserted between the two sides of the tab for even better security. - Lightweight, flexible, cheap Can be a little awkward to peel off but I guess if it came off too easily from the backing, it would come off easily from the cable, so I think that's a good tradeoff. Also, for some reason, although the description says that it comes in US Letter size, mine came in A4 size, which I didn't care about at all since any printer will handle both, but just check that you get the right one if it makes a difference (which really would only be if you had existing printer templates in a particular size). I was planning on hand writing everything anyway, so didn't matter to me.

Excellent label that does what it says
This is the first time I have used a Mr. Label product and I am very impressed with the quality, ease of use, ease of using website template, and most importantly the fact that they perform as stated by the supplier. I used an inkjet printer with labels marked for inkjet or laser printers and the printing was neat, simple, worked the first time, and definitely water and smudge proof. The labels do tear if you intentionally try to tear them, but it takes some effort to do this. I used the PDF template from their website and it worked perfectly. The labels were easy to remove from the sheet and with a little practice they become very easy to attach to the cables/cords. I highly recommend this particular label and look forward to trying other products from Mr. Label.

Needs a good template to use with printer
Used these cool labels to identify all the wires on my new 5.1.2 home theater system. Smartest thing I've done in a while! Unfortunately, had to return my receiver because one of the channels was wonky. Instead of having a rat's nest of wires to figure out what went where when the replacement came in, it was super simple. Very cool design that works well and worked with the varied power, network, speaker, and HDMI cables. I did knock a star off because the printer template on the mfr's website was off. I was all primed to print labels with little icons on them and colors to go along with the text. It just didn't line up right. The design of the label page made it hard to create a properly designed template. I tried and said heck with it. Ended up just using a fine tip Sharpie. That worked just fine. No smudging. Was really stoked to go all faaaancy with it, but didn't happen. If not intending to print on these, easy five stars. But if intending to print on these labels, there may be potential frustration. All that said, great cable labels. You'll not regret labelling your cables in a complex cabling situation. Hope this help you with your label purchasing decision making. Take care. :)

Great way to label ethernet if you have managed switches!
These are great! I have 60 ethernet cables running into three patch panels supporting two switches, and another 8 running to an auxiliary switch, and now all are labelled with printed, durable labels! I used a trick -- select and copy the port manager screen from Unifi (assuming you are using Ubiquiti equipment but I suspect every managed switch has a similar function available) and paste into a spreadsheet, which gives me the device names by port number, and then copy the relevant column into the Mr. Label spreadsheet (downloaded from their website). I pasted it twice (paste as values) so that it appears on both sides of the tags. Then upload the sheet and gets back a PDF that can be printed on an inkjet or laser printer. These printed on my Brother inkjet and didn't smear. The tags themselves work great -- they have a long tail which I wrapped close to the cable, and then folded the other side over it, making a secure fit. They don't dislodge even when I pull a cable through a thicket of other cables!

Great quality of labels but not printer friendly AT ALL
Great quality of labels but not printer friendly AT ALL. The labels are sturdy, waterproof, and look very professional, however out of 20 sheets I have only been able to successfully print out 2 sheets. These labels are better for hand printing.

Frustrating experience with labels
Iโm a tech guy and this was very complicated in how you do the levels. Finally figured it out. After you do itโs easier but Iโd say the instructions are not straight forward or simple for such a simple product. Overall I think the website needs to be re-designed and re-organized and make much more simple to understand. Thereโs just to many templates that donโt make sense. I had to trial an error a bunch of them until it worked. I will say tho that communication from the company was good! So bonus there but overall I had a very frustrating experience and the labels donโt stay on. By morning half of them were half off. Also the package itself was nicely organized. Other than that I wish it had worked better. Now I have 9 pages of labels that I wasted my money on. Hopefully theyโll get better in the future.

Excellent Labels for Flash Drives too!
I love these labels. I needed something for my Flash Drives and these are perfect. The labels are a light plastic and are pliable enough to wrap around the Flash Drives for storage. I have an older HP Printer and because the labels have special properties built in to them, they turned out better than I imagined. Steps: If adding a photo or clip art, do steps 2-5, if not go to step 6. 1. Do an Internet search for Mr-T Labels, download template MR183. Download appropriate format. (I chose Microsoft Word, & picked 3 options so I could choose the one that looked like the format of the paper) 2. Open Template 3. To insert a Photo, you need to do this next step first 4. Right Click on cell where wording will go, & select โSplit Cellsโ > Columns โ4โ 5. Highlight the 3 leftmost split cells, right click & select โMergeโ. This is where the label name will go. The end most cell is where the picture will go. 6. Type in label names in a font of your choice that fits. It will accommodate Size 12 in many fonts. 7. For side B, Insert a text box, type in the label name. Right click on the box, select โMore Layout Optionsโ > Rotate 180 degrees. 8. For the picture, I inserted a box, right clicked, selected format & filled it with the picture which is also rotatable. 9. Remove Picture & Text Box borders. Right Click, Select โFormat Shapeโ, Select Paint Can Icon, Line: select โNo Line." Lock Positions: Right Click text boxes & photos individually, Select โMore Layout Optionsโ, Check โLock Anchorโ, uncheck โMove Object with Textโ 10. Click on Table Option > Borders > Check โAll bordersโ 11. Test Print with Plain Paper. 1:1 (It should automatically be set at L&scape Orientation, if not, it needs to be) 12. If everything lines up correctly, go back to document, click on table and remove all borders. Load the Mr. T paper (underside facing up).

Easy to use, look good
These labels are very cool. I first tried paper address stick-on labels, which didn't stick well and slid up and down the cables. By contrast, these ones stick where you put them. They're made of some sort of durable material, not paper. A minor complaint is that it's hard to see the borders of the labels by eye. That might be a problem if you hand write the labels, so you might write off the label. But I downloaded the MS Word template from the Mr-Label web site, printed labels on a laser printer, and they came out perfectly. When you apply them to the cables, they're perforated so they fold easily right down the middle. A durable and good-looking solution to taming your cable mess.

Good cheap labels
The labels are as described. Good cheap labels at this price point.

Perfect for organizing cords
Bought these to combat the piles of random cords and multiple things plugged in. I use a black permanent marker or just a pen (let the ink dry for a moment before touching it after writing on them) . They are very sticky and do not come apart once you attach to a cord. I love them and have labeled every cord I could get my hands on! Highly recommend!!

Great labels - only ones I've found to work properly on inkjets
Decent labels - they're solid and take ink from inkjet printers well. They have a site full of templates, though your mileage may vary depending on your printer. Had to resort to creating my own in Google Drive in the end, though they publish full measurements of their labels as well so this is easy.
