This works great. It does a good job of smoothing my hair. I usually can skip a day or two after using it as it keeps my hair looking smooth - unless we have high humidity or rain. I have never used this to dry my hair. I always dry my hair with a hair dryer and brush until almost dry and then use my straightener to finish. BUT, I like that it can be used on wet hair. Makes me feel safer with my hair that it can be used on damp hair. I do like the heat options. The only downside is that the button for setting the heat is on the handle and I so, sometimes, hit the button, which changes the heat setting. Wish they would move the button.
