Review: Bed bug success story after several fails - It can be a lot of work to get rid of bed bugs as I’ve found out the hard way. I purchased the smaller bottle of Bed Bug patrol last week in hopes of finally getting rid of these bed bugs that we picked up while on travel in Europe recently. We have even tried several other products on the market (both from the store and off desertcart) to no avail. I applied it as soon as it arrived (BTW it smells terrific like Christmas with peppermint and clove to me) on to two of our couches, a bed, the moldings, wall, and floor around those, including and around the outlets, which isn't recommended, but that's where the bedbugs tend to make their home. We do have a pretty bad infestation. Even tried a local pest control company (harmful pesticides) but it made very little difference and the company also refused to come back when I told them there were still visible bed bugs in our home. Again we also tried other products that did not full work. I found out that using a fogging machine and only did it once, it didn't reach the nooks and crannies where they actually live, that it wasn’t a good enough follow up to kill them all. What I've seen that this is the type of thing that needs to be done continuously until all the adults are dead and all the eggs are hatched since nothing seems to kill the eggs. I later the next day checked the entire area and found a lot of dead bead bugs. It's been less than a week, and every time I look I continue to find more and more. I will now be ordering several larger gallon size bottles and will be using it in all of our bedrooms as well as in the living room again and on the couches, corners, crevices etc. its an easy product to apply. We have a pretty heavy infestation, so I plan on continuing the use of the product for a few more months to be sure we got them all. This has upended our life! So the sooner it was over the better! Well it is over thanks to this product. I also found out that bed bugs can lay dormant without a meal for over a year without eating, which really scares me because if there are a few more hidden in the walls and we stop treating, it can possibly all start over again. I gave this 5 stars because it's been less than a few weeks and we already see zero bed bugs. For us to only have to treat certain areas rather than fog our whole house with harmful pesticide is very helpful, plus again it smells great and doesn't leave any residue. If I have any additional updates I will post again in the future.

It can be a lot of work to get rid of bed bugs as I’ve found out the hard way. Okay this is what I know about bedbugs they like women more then men, they don't like hair I was told. I am highly allergic to bedbugs, nice problem to have with an invasive specie and only 20% are allergic(YEAH ME). If you say bedbug you will clear a room. It is a dirty 6 letter word I am finding out so asking for help is getting interesting. My favorite has been wife says they had them and treatment took 3 months husband denies all recollection. We are currently going through active stage found them a week ago, now I scratch at the word bedbug. I think everything is crawling on me is a bedbug and every speck on the floor I squish. I purchased this after reading a site http://www.entsoc.org/press-releases/efficacy-natural-bed-bug-pesticides-compared that recommended it. I mattress covered and washed everything also used DE which which dries them out if they try to cross it. Electronics don't work and they repel anyway so instead of your bed they are in the walls. Turn off your air if you can they like warm and DON'T MOVE OUT OF THE ROOM THEY WILL FOLLOW YOU! If you are in an apartment if you are thinking of moving into an apartment have a escape clause because if the landlord does not care for a property or their manager is not on top of things your screwed. I will let you know as this develops but bedbugs take months to get rid of in fact it takes longer to get rid of them then it took to get them. Currently I have someone coming on monday to verify that this is a killer not a repellent but everything came quickly and well packaged. This stuff smells like clove and peppermint exploded and it is STRONG. Literally it will open a very congested persons nose. It has given us some relieve until we can have this properly taken care of before you spray make sure you on all openings and baseboards you put down Diatomaceous Earth (DE). Put the Diatomaceous Earth in a empty condiment bottle which placed it nicely but you can use a Ziploc bag with the tip cut out get creative. Use googles and a mask this stuff dries everything out( talk about dry eyes and a coughing fit. GOOD LUCK!
