Not sure of the size. I bought two strands of their LED soler lights and they fit both sets if that helps.

Will this work on a solar powered fountain pump ?

Will this adapter work with an electric string light?

Yes, but only if it is for "electric string lights". This does not work well for non-electric string lights.
