All I can tell you is that I am on my second year of sharp blades on my McLane 10 blade at a fraction of the cost to re-sharpen locally! **Q: How do i use the sharpening tool for my push mower?** A: The sharpener fixes to the bottom plate of the mower. Every cylinder mower has one. With the power switched on, the blades spin against the aluminum oxide abrasive and are sharpened to the correct angle. If your cylinder mower is not a power machine, lean back on the mower handles to lift the front wheels and push the mower along so that the blades spin and this sharpen. **Q: Is there a sharpener for a 25 inch mcclane reel mower?** A: Right now, we just have a 16" and 20" sharpener. **Q: Are there replacement adhesive sharpening strips?** A: Yes. Replacement strips may be ordered. I never have done so, as the blades in my Scott’s have remained sharp for a long time.
