Apple sells for 159.00. What's up with the high price

Not even Target, Kohl’s, Walmart, Costco and Apple sells for $143 at the Apple store all in stock. My question is why do the open box and refurbished ones cost 60% more than retail for new?

What is the process for answering an incoming call with the AirPods+iPhone when the AirPods are currently in their case or sitting on the desk?

As long as the AirPods are out of your ears (in the case or not) they remain off. So your incoming call will ring on your phone as usual, if you put an AirPod in your ear while the phone is still ringing the ring tone will be transferred to the AirPods automatically. During a call if you remove one EarPod the remaining one will be active and removing both will transfer the audio to your phone. Putting one in your ear sends audio back to the EarPod, all seamlessly and without interruption.

Is there any delay or lag for watching videos ?

I haven't noticed any lag when I watch YouTube videos on my phone with them.

can you skip song and volume control without using siri or the phone?

You can change the tap and double tap functions in your phone settings. One of the options is volume. So, yes, you can change the volume without using Siri or your phone.
