Dremel 4300-9/64 Rotary Tool Kit with Flex Shaft and 64 Accessories

As a Master Craftsman who makes a living working with my hands creating things, I can say with 100% certainty that everything in this kit is going to get used. I love that the kit is not over packaged, in that everything isn't separately bagged and taped up. There is minimal work to do to unwrap everything. I am extremely pleased with all the accessories that came with it. It has plenty of power, and it is very versatile. Everything is all in one convenient location, which makes it very portable. There was even plenty of room for the various bits that I already had from a previous Dremel tool. I like that it opens up and the side hinges click into place so it will not accidentally fall closed and it also unlocks the drawer, so the drawer is not going to open up while you're carrying it with the top closed. So far, it has proven to be extremely valuable, durable, and a great value for the money! I've read some of the reviews where some people have complained that it vibrates at a certain speed. I would wager that these people are trying to run it with one of the various chucks attached to it, and it's not tightened down. If you plug yours in and you notice a vibration at any speed, either tightened down whatever chuck you have attached to it or remove it all together because a loose chuck (or even an off-center bit) will cause a vibration. I have absolutely no complaints with my kit, and it will get used for a wide range of projects. Also, I suggest that, at the very least, you purchase the 3-year warranty plan. It's always better safe than sorry.

Good, comprehensive rotary tool with broad range of accessories.

I had a Dremel 4000 with a respectable set of bits and accessories, but lost it when I moved into my new house. That said, this 4300, the accessories and bits are absolutely complete. I haven't had anything come up that it couldn't handle. I recommend you watch a few videos on YouTube if you're not really familiar with this tool and accessories just so that you can learn what it's capable of and the safety rules involved in it's use. Safety glasses are a must! Oh, and not only is this an awesome set, but 5 days after I received it...I found my lost 4000. Ten days after that I found my respectable set of bits and accessories. Of course I did. Lol.

There's a tool for every purpose then there's a Dremel which is the tool for so very many purposes. I got it for a specific project but since have discovered how much more this tool can do (I know, crazy I had never used one before, now I can't imagine not having one). Glad I bought this set that had multiple accessories which was more economical and helped me use this tool to it's full potential. Yes there are similar cheaper, other brand models which you can use if you weren't planning to do much with it but the features and quality on this Dremel are superior once I compared it with those of friends. I think it will make it last longer and I feel it performs better with a variety of projects. Being able to adjust the speed is essential for control and the flex shaft makes it easier to work on smaller projects or engraving as you can hold the tool like a pen. I've used it to clean, polish, sharpen tools, carve wood, sand, engrave, do craft work and more. The kit comes with a nice small selection of bits which is good for a starter kit though I quickly found I needed more to do a wider variety of projects and I wore them out from use. Luckily you can easily get reasonably priced compatible ones online as I've found hardware/ big box stores don't seem to carry many bits. Very happy with this purchase.

I just recently started up a furniture flipping business of my own called Décor Adore. I started off my woodworking furniture business because I had done a couple pieces in my own home as well as for some people I know. While I loved sanding by hand before and even thought it to be somewhat therapeutic if you're going to be doing this much more than just on the aloccasion you're going to need some help for the places you just cant seem to get to by hand alone. I bought this mainly for sanding and grinding and on the occasion engraving. At first I just thought about getting the dremel itself and then buying the extra attachments and accessories separately but doing it that way seemed to be either just as expensive or near the price of what all this has to offer. I chose this obviously because it's the best package out and while it may seem like somewhat of a large purchase try adding everything up individually and you'll then see you're getting quite as bang for your buck here. Even though I had never really used a rotary tool before I knew exactly why I needed one and upon reading each accessory and attachment and knowing what they all are for, the manual doesnt do s good job of explaining how to attach each item and how to use or what kinds of projects would be best to use these things on. That's what we have youtube for guys!! Each and every question I had on how to attach or how to use certain pieces I found on youtube and have definitely used this tool for everything and more than I needed it for! Most people start off buying something cheaper to get the feel and how to handle the reigns on things but I'll went all in and happy I did!

The first kit I ordered in November, well the Dremel itself died in under 4 hours of use. I contacted Dremel directly and ended up shipping it back to them. Turns out that the switch was bad. They sent me a replacement tool. I managed to get about 20 more hours of use from the second one and the motor quit once again. I was working on a carving piece using the flex extension. The bottom of the plastic part of the connection that connects the flex tool to the dremel suddenly came loose and the dremel locked up. Before that, it was making uneven sounds and losing power. Now, it won't start again. I checked the motor brushes and they look fine. I switched them around to see if that would help. Nope. It's dead. I'm very frustrated right now. I have a lot of projects to do and I have not been abusing the tool at all. I am not forcing pressure to over torque (letting the bit do the job) and am doing everything I can to maintain it. The dang thing still breaks. Stay away from this one folks, it's a lemon and I am extremely disappointed in the lack of quality for this model. I'm not sure if I'll purchase another dremel product ever again. Edited 5/12/2022: After working with it more, getting better motor brushes, I've managed to coax life back into this thing. I now actually enjoy working with it. It makes a lot of detail work pretty easy. I recommend using the flex shaft for better control. I originally reviewed this a 1 star and am now changing it to a 4.

Best item I have bought in a long time. This tool does so much and comes with so many things to make woodworking easier for me. The flex shaft is a life saver when doing detail work. The case it comes with is very durable and includes multiple attachments I have yet to use unfortunately but the unit itself is very powerful with a variable speed between 5,000 – 35,000 rpm. Vibrations can be very powerful at higher speeds but that should be expected. I suggest getting the drill press mount as it doubles as a tool holder so you can hang the device and you also have mini drill press to go with it. This set comes with a chuck which makes swapping out bits too easy. All in all this is a great item and well worth the price for everything you get

Box was open and product has short circut spark and not working normally

I was initially going to purchase a different 4300, but I didn't want to have more than 1 case to go along with my Rotary Tool. This one is excellent, has the tool as well as all the accessories stored all in one case. There is room in the accessory cases to store any additional bits you might have. Item is solid and performs well, couldn't be happier. Worth the extra money in my opinion.

This is a great kit I would recommend anyone who wants to start a rotary toolkit and it comes with high quality bits and surprisingly it came in packaged perfectly as well in the Box it has a foam in it to prevent the tools bringing around and it also has a built in lock drawer I didn't even know it had that! And the tool it came with is one of dremels top end of the line tool 4300 series yet again would recommend anyone who is looking into rotary stuff and it's a great multi-tool and the price makes sense and I'm very happy that it comes with a built-in 2-year warranty with the tools and the Dremel tool doesn't power struggle and the RPMs are amazing and I love the fact you get also hang the tool upside down so you could use the cable line for it
