Sometimes you just don’t know what you’re gonna get online and I’ll tell you what I am 100% happy with this jacket and I don’t write a lot of reviews.

I have had this Jacket since 1996 and it was used when I got it. I have horses and this is great for chores, the hay doesn't stick to it easy to wash, its light but yet warm. It is first now showing wear on the cuffs. I have been catching my husband (of 3 years) stealing my jacket to use (it is quit large for me but that's okay in winter I can put another coat under it) have I mentioned that the hay doesn't get stuck to it! that is a huge bonus!! Since I didn't want to share my jacket I purchased this one for my husband. I am so glad they are still around and hope this one will last as long as mine has. its been the best jacket ever! did I tell you hay doesn't stick to it? lol It is also is great for patches and embroidering, I put a "Manager" patch on and embroidered my barn name, and picture of my mare on to. the size I have was XL, great for me, and fit just right for hubby. I can fit coats under it, my hubby can only fit a sweatshirt under his. So happy to have found these here. Usually when you find a good thing and you want another you can't get them anymore. I am thinking of getting myself another in a little smaller size. Thank you Red Kap for such excellent quality!. . . maybe you can make some girly jackets that are a little more flattering :)

Fits very big

@ 5'11" and 260 LBS I normally wear a XXL, but, bought this in XXXL. Perfect fit, not too baggy or tight, can layer a hoodie, solid build quality - stitching, zipper, deep pockets, warm quilted lining, firm and soft cuffs, collar, waist band, Red Kap makes the perfect lightweight bomber style jacket for the skilled tradesman/tradeswoman. worth every $ spent.

Husband said jacket is A+ especially if you like to wear a hoodie underneath. Definitely helps when working outside.

I wear this a lot. My wife thinks it's ugly, but I like it. It fits really well and is warm. The price is right too.

Stats: Usual Size: Medium 5'10" 190-200lbs 42in Chest **Medium** Fits great. Still a little baggy in the torso and definitely makes me look a little fluffier around the stomach, but that just means I have room for layers. I can cross my arms, bend down, and touch my shoulders with no restriction. Sits just below the belt but rides up as you move which doesn't bother me. I feel that sizing down would make it too short. Runs a little large for layering. Overall, pretty good and feels like it'll last some time. **Large** I went one size larger because some were saying it runs a tad "tight" or "small" and I listened to them for some reason. I usually wear a medium, but can usually fit a large. I ordered a reg-large and this is too big even if I wanted to layer. The sleeves are longer, so it bunches up and I can't use the arm pocket. The chest and belly area are definitely roomy. Fits good around the waist, just below the belt. Overall it looks pretty proportional even if it's a size too big. The inside liner does feel plastic-y. Similar feel to a cheap nylon drawstring backpack but it's comfortable and actually pretty warm. The stretchy parts feel quality and seems like it'll last quite a while. The outer material isn't bad and feels soft yet rigid. YKK zipper is good; smooth and no snags. The color is nice; darker than the pictures. The jacket would be pretty good if it fit well, but from other reviews, different places of manufacturing have different fits and quality. This one was made in Indonesia. Hope my exchanged one is consistent in sizing.

First off, If you’ve worn any of the dickies or carhartt jackets before you’re familiar with that rugged heavy duty nylon material. This jacket is far from that, it is a slick and thin nylon with a rather comfortable inside lining. This makes the jacket very light and dare I say sporty. *FITS VERY SLIM, SIZE 1 UP* Second thing I noticed is how wrinkly this thing is out of the package. However that’s fixable with a clothing iron which I did immediately. Lastly, I noticed a ton of excess strings in every seam of the coat. This is an indication of bad quality control at the factory. In summary, if you need a jacket for blue collar work, run from this jacket and go buy a dickies Eisenhower. If you’re me and you work at an auto-parts store and you need a good jacket to throw patches on and wear in cool conditions then I say go ahead. The long term durability scares me and I’m not sure it’ll survive one good time of getting snagged on something metal. I’m only giving this 3 stars because the one pockets are a perfect touch.

En comparación con mis demas chamarras esta es mas grande. La tela es buena y cubr bien el frio. No es muy pesada de echo al concidero ligera. por cierto es echa en Mexico.

El artículo llegó mucho antes de lo esperado, bien embalado, pero me quedó muy chica es más estrecha que la ropa habitual de esa talla. me pude percatar de un hedor muy extraño que salía de la prenda, por muy nueva que esté la ropa, nunca había olido algo parecido en textiles...

I really like this jacket. It is a classic bomber style. It is lightly insulated so it's good for spring/fall or maybe winter with a hoodie underneath. I like the material which is a classic work clothing type of twill which feels well made. The jacket is missing two things, an inside pocket, and a loop for hanging it on a hook. Other than that it is perfect. I also appreciate the veriety of sizes Red Cap offers. I am 6'2" and 250lbs I ordered a XXL Tall and it fits great. I love the Tall option. Overall very impressed with this jacket. I would recommend!

Nice spring, early fall jacket. Good value and quality for the money.
