Although I was unable to return the product, they issued me a full refund, which I really appreciate! The product itself is a great quality, and the sellers want you to be completely satisfied, so you have nothing to lose, so try it.If you sleep on your back, it's GREAT, however being a side sleeper, it hit me in the wrong place in the side of my back. I thought maybe I was placing it in the wrong position, and decided to take it with me to the physical therapist visit. She confirmed that when placed, and in side position, that it does in fact cause the spine to do a weird curve upward--making me out of alignment......I had read all the reviews before purchasing, (which were across the board). When I first tried it, I woke up feeling achy in my back, but reviewers had said that it takes some getting used to, so I committed to another couple nights with it, before wondering if it was doing more harm than good. Obviously once my PT verified that it was arching my back too much I stopped using it--however I will say, if you lie on your back either to sleep or watch TV, it does provide nice support when placed under the knees; it just didn't work well with my body type, as a side sleeper. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Helps for side sleeping with herniated discs *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2017* I have 2 herniated discs in my lower back plus associated arthritis, so however I lie down, it hurts, even with a good memory foam mattress. When I lie on my back with this, it does a good job of stretching out the muscles in the front of my hips, but puts pressure on my spine and becomes uncomfortable after about 5 minutes. However, whenI lie on my side it keeps my spine straight and relieves pressure on my hip, so I can sleep longer. Not a dramatic difference, but every extra half hour of sleep helps. It is wide enough that turning over onto the other side does not require repositioning, OTOH, while it works fine in a queen-sized bed, in a double bed shared with a partner it is a few inches too wide (or so my wife tells me). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Well designed product that's greatly needed *by M***D on Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2018* Ingenious design that is perfect for helping to heal bulging or herniated discs without having to lay on my face, which is difficult for me. Softly firm with a thick cover. The nerves in my back are extremely sensitive due to many injuries and fibromyalgia plus arthritis and this did not bother them, which is always a problem for me with foam cushions. The sides slope to a 1/2" but I would have preferred they sloped to a point to lessen the bulk there when I sleep on my side but oh well. Definitely helped my back pain when I laid on my back on it for minutes at a time.
