Transporter Roll Top Laptop Backpack, Venturi Blue

I bought the Osprey Transporter for travel. I ended up using it for a bit for daily commuting just to test it out. I'd say this is an amazingly balanced bag that works in many conditions. Osprey as a company has great Backpacking packs. You can see a lot of the trickle down on this commuter! It has a mesh and rubber backing to ventilate your back that works fairly well. The straps are thick. It has buckles on both your waist and clip area to transfer weight to your lower body. And the water proofing is flawless. It's overall a very comfortable backpack to use. It's very spacious! The 25L it offers are really convenient when you want to bring a lot of stuff. I find it useful for overnight trips, you can comfortably store about two days worth of extra clothes when rolled up. If you need more space you simply roll the top up less, so it's pretty conveniently expandable. Overall it's a great durable commuter pack that's invaluable when you need to bring more things or have an overnight trip. Certainly worth the investment.

Perfect size for someone who needs a solid carry-on backpack for travel. Build quality also appears stellar after a few months of use. The only potential drawback would be the lack of compartments and pockets. Ultimately, a great buy and worth the price.

The bag is great, very durable. I was sent the wrong color, but actually prefer the palm pattern I was sent to the ugly blue that was $30 cheaper.

I am a very picky person. And I have done extensive research on bags that could “theoretically” fit what I am looking for. I have traveled on 200+ flights over 2 years with this bag. Let me just tell you: I love it, It is the best I have ever bought. The water bottle holders are perfect for a 32 oz yeti and I’m not concerned about fall out. The material is perfect for rainy commutes and is extremely durable. I actually love when it gets a little scuff and looks worn. (It never tears) The roll top allows for added/ adjustable storage capacity if needed. The inside is kind of like a black hole but I really loved the internal storage pocket for my iPad and some documents separate from the computer compartment. I just use a couple of pouches for electronics and necessities and I can easily find what I’m looking for. It’s extremely comfortable and light I love that it’s easy to get to my computer through the zipper compartment and I don’t have to go rifling through the main compartment. Please do yourself a favor and buy the bag. You won’t regret it.

Great bag. Looks great and is the high quality you expect from Osprey. I used this bag for travel around Europe and as day hiker. The capacity is amazing and seems larger than advertised.

Great backpack. Totally waterproof. Took the bag around Japan and India and felt my items were protected from the elements. Only complaint are 1) the back cushioning and shoulder straps could be more cushioned 2) as others mentioned the bag is fairly cavernous so items inside can get lost. Not the end of the world but requires some forethought when packing, especially if getting in and out of the bag on a plane.

So I love the way this backpack looks: the TPU coating material makes this not only waterproof but also stylish as f. But unfortunately I will not use this pack as daily gym/work companion because of its extremely hard accessibility for both main compartment and laptop compartment. So first, the laptop compartment is a nice feature but to fit my Macbook Pro 16 inches is extremely hard, and I have to slide it in from the bottom, then rotate the laptop and finally put it inside because the zipper is not long enough so you need to do this weird dance every time you take you Mac in or out the bag. Secondly, the main compartment is very large at the top, but narrows down at the bottom, and unlike the laptop sleeve you cannot access it from the side, making this beautiful black backpack into a black hole. Evey time I need to reach for something I need to remove everything from the bag, which is not convenient at all. Lastly there is a small pocket at the front, which would be handy, but is rather small in depth, so you can't really fit anything other than a passport or a phone, and even then, it's really difficult to find what you put inside (for example Airpods). I wish Osprey had another model of backpack with this same TPU material but with a side zipper in a large size maybe 30L, so I can comfortably store a gym change of clothes, shower accessories, water bottle and a 16 inches Macbook.

Ich bin schon seit Längerem auf der Suche nach einem ebenso outdoor- wie jobtauglichen Roll Top gewesen und hatte die Hoffnung schon fast aufgegeben, noch fündig zu werden, nachdem ich zwei Exemplare enttäuscht wieder zurückgehen lassen musste, weil sie auf den Bildern so kompakt wirkten und in Natura einfach in sich zusammensackten. dem Osprey in Tan Concrete mit seiner schlanken, sportlich-eleganten Optik konnte ich dann doch nicht widerstehen - und ich sollte diesmal nicht enttäuscht werden. Der Rucksack hält sämtliche Versprechen. Er macht einen sehr stabilen, robusten Eindruck, hält top die Form, trägt sich durch die Polsterung hervorragend und besticht durch sein durchdachtes Konzept. So hält er durch gepolsterte Fächer im Innenteil und am Rücken gleich zwei Möglichkeiten vor, einen Laptop oder ein IPad sicher zu verstauen. Es gibt zudem noch zwei kleine Innentaschen für Kleinkram und eine sehr komfortable Fronttasche. An den Seiten lassen sich durch praktische Klemmfächer Gegenstände wie Schirm, Trinkflasche oder auch nasse oder schmutzige Gegenstände getrennt vom restlichen Inhalt des Rucksacks mitführen - für mich als Hundehalterin ideal. Alles in allem bin ich rundum glücklich mit meiner Wahl, und auch der Preis stimmte mit 89,99 Euro. Was sich im Moment schwer beurteilen lässt, ist die Haltbarkeit des Materials. Aufgrund des widerstandsfähigen, robusten Eindrucks, den es macht, bin ich da aber guter Hoffnung.

Very tidy looking bag for work and (non airline) travel. Possibly too big for low cost airlines, especially Wizz! But good bag, tidy water bottle side skirts. But EXPENSIVE (I got in sale, but still...)

I am not one to often leave reviews, but this is a phenomenal bag warranting praise. It feels high quality and looks as much too. Even as the outer shell wears, it still upholds its image. Functionally, I am too pleased. The bag is objectively waterproof, and comfortably stores my 13inch laptop and slightly smaller tablet. The side compartments for water bottles and what have nots were originally a source of worry, but, in continuation of my raving review, they too work well. I read critiques regarding the size of the bag, which is indeed subjective. I wear a size 44 jacket, and I would say at max capacity the bag still remains proportionate. All in all very pleased and would buy another some five to ten years down the line.

Großartiger Rucksack- sieht nicht nur klasse aus, sondern hat viel Stauraum, viele Nebenfächer und ist wasserfest. Habe ihn schon seit Längerem in Gebrauch und er sieht noch aus wie neu. Ist der beste Rucksack, den ich je hatte!
