Those of us who are avid readers of the Bible can easily see the deterioration of quality of bible paper throughout the years. I read all different translations of the Bible, but I decided to go back to New King James for a while. As I was looking at different Bibles and looking through different reviews, someone had posted a picture that these are printed in India! I love India paper products! I stock up on notebooks from Dollar Tree when I see that they are printed in India because they are excellent quality paper. This Bible absolutely floored me in the beauty of its Comfort BOLD Print Text , the quality of the paper from India and the synthetic leather. It is reminiscent (but not identical of course) of the old Bibles from years ago that were made in America with beautiful craftsmanship and detail and respect to the Word of God; except this is for a fraction of the cost! The sale price is unbeatable. Thomas Nelson, this is a brilliant move. Thank you. Review: A premium Bible at an economy price - The leathersoft cover on this Bible has a premium look and feel. The decorated spine along with the actual Ribs on the spine also contribute to the premium look and feel of this Bible. In terms of the text, the text is very clear and easy to read, and the drop caps add a nice decorative touch. The red letter printing appears to be very consistent throughout. There are a ton of footnotes; in my experience I much prefer a center column reference and these footnotes at the bottom tend to appear to run together, but that's just personal opinion. My only complaint in terms of quality is that the index cuts are not very smooth. I have a KJV version of this Bible and it's index cuts are very smooth; I assume the difference is just a matter of blade sharpness when the cuts were made and what you get will be luck of the draw. That being said, it's not really an issue at all. Two ribbons is a nice feature. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #20,399 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #112 in History of Christianity (Books) #139 in Christian Church History (Books) #628 in Christian Bibles (Books) | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 282 Reviews | ## Images ![Black Leathersoft - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71OTkr-2tVL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Media Format** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PRINTED IN INDIA! *by M***M on January 30, 2025* Most Bibles at this writing in 2025 are printed in China.
