Does the lid stop at 90 degrees when open or would it flip all the way back and hit the backsplash?

It does not stop at 90 degrees , it will open allbthe way towards the back

I'm not really sure but here is the link to the company ... i looked over the website to see if i could find the where everything is made but no luck. http://www.nowdesigns.net/about-us I submitted the question to the generic email and I will let you know if they respond. Looks great but....my bread goes moldy in it. i have tried it with and without the bread packaging. our house in ac so its not humid. help!

Not sure where the bin is but my bread stays fresh!! It's on the counter by the sink...No sun comes on that counter....not sure if that helps...live my bread tin!!

Very spacious. Enough for 2 loaves and some small cakes.

I like how it looks, how spacious it is. It's easy to clean.However, this is not airtight. I make it a bit tighter by using a kitchen cloth to wrap the bread inside and then have some cloth wedge into the lid when I close it.Feels sturdy and I can see myself using this for a long time.
