Review: Good replacement - My barbantia bin started to open on its own. Look on the internet I found that the probable cause was the either a problem with the top catch or striker. Since it did close, this eliminated the catch, so I got these to replace the striker. Not even brabantia bin allows you to do this, so you need to check. Took less than 2 minutes to remove the old one and put in the new one. Worked a treat.

My barbantia bin started to open on its own. Look on the internet I found that the probable cause was the either a problem with the top catch or striker. Since it did close, this eliminated the catch, so I got these to replace the striker. Not even brabantia bin allows you to do this, so you need to check. Took less than 2 minutes to remove the old one and put in the new one. Worked a treat.
