Sara /foxydry **Q: I got the ceiling mounted rack i very concern mount it on the drywall ceiling. can anyone in the us that own this rack give me some advice.** A: I installed this into new construction and put wood in the framing behind the drywall where the unit would be mounted. I was lucky enough to plan ahead but I understand that's not the norm. My advice is to mount it using the biggest toggle bolt you can find. Don't use a plastic anchor. I mean the metal ones that spring open or flip open once on the inside of the drywall. A single 3/16 machine screw with spring leaf toggle bolt has a weight capacity of about 85-90 pounds each. You would be using 4 of them. The foxydry unit is less that 33 pounds so that plus the weight of clothing hanging should be ok so long as your drywall is in good shape. you can also find larger versions. Just make sure you put a big washer on that machine screw before your send in into the ceiling so the foxydry unit catches. The worst case scenario is cutting open the ceiling at the two ends of the foxydry unit, attach wood in between your framing so you can screw into it, then replace the drywall and mounting the unit that way. I think the right anchor will work just fine but if your handy enough you can reinforce the ceiling with wood. **Q: I just purchased this in the us - i assume it’s good for us voltage as all the reviews seem to be from europe?** A: Yes, it is. So you should follow the registration of the remote code to the main unit again. Disconnect power, reconnect to power and during the bips sounds press ones light button and keep up button pressed until you'll hear 3 short sounds, This confirms the remote is reconnected to the unit and everything should now work.
