The standard spindles are good for up to 31" tires while the Mega Spindle is designed for larger tires or if you plan on putting accessories on your swing-away! The primary selling point for this one over others was that the shaft is made of chromoly steel which is far more durable. When I received it, I was plesently surprised that the races were already pressed into the barrel. The only thing I wish it had was a spot for a grease zerk. However, there may be some customers that would prefer not having one, it is a product that could fit many needs. A hole could easily be drilled and taped to screw in a zerk if desired. Be sure to install the correct order. Check out YouTube videos if needed, unfortunately no instructions are given with the product. However, if you’re buying this item you are probably mechanically inclined enough to figure it out.
