I am an amateur and these allowed me to feel very safe doing a large shed roof. I'm not sure how I would have done it without them. Getting them out from under the shingles can be finicky but getting them instealled and used was very easy.

I recently reroofed a house and used these in conjunction with old non-adjustable roof jacks. In my case the adjustability was non-essential due to the pitch of the roof, but I played around with it and found it easy enough to adjust. Overall I preferred my old rusted roof jacks simply because it was easier to position and mount with a board in place. I'll keep using them though, there's nothing to dissuade me on that aspect.

These brackets have made this roofing job SO MUCH EASIER! We bought the 10 inch set, so we had to buy a 2x10x8 plywood from our local store, and wow what a difference they made!

These are exactly what I needed to work on my roof. I would buy more if needed. If you don't need adjustable, the fixed ones will save you some $$
