The answer choices are all in order, so if it is 8x5 the answer choices are 0, 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80. So he figured out he can just count down and get the correct answer. :( Hopefully he is at least looking at the answers and reading to count by 8s! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Just okay... *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2016* My 8 year old daughter has been struggling to learn her multiplication tables. She loved this product....for the first few days. And I do think it helped her a little bit. However, after a few days of repeatedly using the cards, she admitted she had memorized the location of the "correct dot". To further clarify, she memorized the location of the actual "dot"...not the numerical answer. I think it was more muscle memory taking her to the correct "dot", rather than her looking at the numerical options. I use them in the classroom during my workshop time. Students use them independently at one of their stations, and I know it will keep them busy and learning at the same time. I have so many of them for reading and math, and my students love them. I teach special education, so they are great to use to reinforce skills that they missed along the way. The pens are great, because you can put them on silent mode and just use the red or green light to show if they are correct. That way you're not disrupting the rest of your stations in the room.
