Is the motor made for Saltwater?

Hello! Question about the displacement on the 12hp motor. One place says 169cc another place says 246cc. What is the real displacement for the 12hp?

where can you get replacement impeller or other parts?

As far as I know you can order the stuff from there website but it comes with new gaskets and an impeller or mine did at least. I have the 18 hp it has been great Ive taken it out in the intercoastal waterways in central Florida, and places like headwaters, the Stickmarsh and Lake Washington. Motor has held up very well, but it is still also very new do the braking procedures that come with your manual make sure you use the right fuel to oil mixture. Mine was 25 to 1 for the break-in. Or the first tank of gas and then I believe it is a 35 to 1 gas oil mix after that, I have a 15 1/2 foot fisher johnboat, and there’s 18 horse motor pushes the boat 20 miles an hour.

Will it hurt this engine to store it laying down?
