I just pump once over top of my hand, tap my finger into the serum and just set a little of the serum overtop of the problem area but without touching my finger to the skin, and then I let it dry on its own. I’ve tried to use this under acne patches and it stays too much on the skin instead of absorbing. So I wouldn’t say that it actually dries. Which explains why it seems to soften imperfections when I use overtop of makeup. I’ve never noticed a strong scent and I’m sensitive to perfume.
