M-51 Fishtail Parka

When I ordered this I knew I would be getting a slightly longer coat, like maybe Timmy upper thigh. Boy was I wrong, I am 6'5, and weigh 290lbs. I typically have to wear a 2X-Tall or a 3X, I took a chance and ordered the 2X because people were saying it ran big. When it arrived yesterday and I put it on I was unpleasantly surprised that the length of the coat reached all the way down to the bottom of my knees. So I'd imagine if you were 6'0 or shorter and ordered a 2X it would nearly touch the floor.I was hoping to wear this as more of a nice coat when I go out, as I already own an M-65 for outdoor/rough use, but I wouldn't be caught dead in public while pretty much wearing a trench coat.I may use this for Airsoft, but haven't decided.I will say however it's very warm, it's nicely made, and the sleeves are actually long enough for me, but I picture of the coat on a model would have been a nice touch to see just how long this thing was before I dropped $76.00 on it.If you're looking for a long ass coat, you found it, if you're just looking for cool military coat, just get an M-65.

Probably the last time I'll be buying Rothco products with hopes that they will actually be durable, quality outdoor products. This thing is laughably bad. Chinese garbage per the norm. The removable liner that comes with it is a joke, the jacket itself is pretty shoddy, looks cheap all together. Zipper seam is barely attached and flops open revealing awful white stitching. I ended up discarding the junk removable liner and just keeping the outer shell as a novelty/costume piece. I would not recommend this product for anything other than a novelty, let alone actual cold weather use.

I read every review. I get that some might be older but....this is a great jacket. The liner is warm. Snaps and zipper are well made. Seams? I pulled on them and inspected every inch after purchase. I like it.It is cotton, so I would silicon this and you will have a nice, weather resistant jacket.It is oversized but for me—I am 6’1” 310lbs former DE. It is still a tiny bit big but it is still loose and I could wear a sweat jacked underneath and still move fine.

Good work, y'all!!!This radicool retro-style Mod Parka looks fashionably sharp as I ride around on my vintage scooter. From a practical standpoint,I've been wearing this parka during day and night scootering expeditions in the chilly December winter weather -- and it blocks thecold wind pretty good -- even while scootering down the roads at 45 mph! Of course, this parka looks best when paired with a blackpork-pie hat. In the Spring and Summer I plan to take out the removable inner liner and wear it while scootering -- just to look cool. I'dread some other reviewers who didn't like the fact that the outer shell was thin -- but that means you can wear this Mod fashion accessorywhile scootering on the hottest of summer days!!! Besides, the price is right --- so get one!!!

My husband has been wanting one of these coats for a long time. This came the other day and he absolutely loves it. Thankfully I read some other reviews on this coat, and saw several people had noted the sizes do run big. That is very true! My husband usually wears a 1X or 2X depending on how it's made. I ordered him a Large, and it fits good, but is still loose enough that he can wear layers underneath without being constricted. I am so glad I bought this for him.

I've always been a big fan of Rothco products, but this has got to be their idea of a joke. This is not a parka. It's is a cheap (shoddy not price) knock off that you would expect to find at a pop-up Halloween costume shop. It's twice the size of an M-65 (by design) and about 1/10th the weight. If you hold it up to the light you can see right through it. Not what you would expect from Rothco.

Fast delivery and good product. A decent reproduction piece, liner is just like authentic m-65's I've owned. Perfect MOD parka, just like Jimmy's from Quadrophenia...

I walk many miles each week, mostly along the windy Jersey shoreline. It is very hard to find a LONG, as in around knee length, man's parka or coat that doesn't weigh a ton and cost $250.(this coat costs around $60.) Without a long coat on the brutally cold and windy days you feel like you are walking in your underwear! I love this coat...it's made for layering and breaks the wind. I gave my brother, who is more into the mountains, one for xmas, and he shares my praise. The only drawback I could note would be that the two pockets are on the small size, not large enough for a heavy pair of gloves.

Great jacket, but if your in Canada think twice about getting it because they ship from the states even if the company names states that their from Canada and Even if its from Amazon itll have duties fees. So beware just because it says their from Canada and your ordering from Canada , dosen't mean that its in Canada ? Hahahah if that makes any sense . Besides the horse crap in duties and fees the jacket is what I wanted.

I had originally ordered 2xl but started reading more reviews and decided to cancel and order large instead. im glad i did. make sure to order 1-2 sizes lower than what you normally would unless it'll probably look like you're wearing a dress lmao

今まで８年着てたヒュ－ストンが流石にだめになり購入。サイズL（１７８cm７０kgちょっとメタボ）制服を着ての着用を考えてこのサイズに。Yシャツ１枚で着るとやや大きいですが(袖が長い）ヒューストンの物と実物あわせをするとぴったり同じでしたので問題なし。生地の厚みは特に問題は無いですが後は生地の耐久性とライナーがごわごわなのが頂けない。(ヒューストンの物はボタン穴が合わないので使えなさそう）ぴったり着るなら２サイズ落として、ゆったり着るなら１サイズ落としで良いかとも居ます。(スーツ等着用時）メイドインチャイナなので必ず細部まで検品を。
