I finally had to use these extensions. Right out of the bag, 2 have broken chucks, they do not lock the bit in. And they don't spring back closed. These are garbage and a complete waste of money. I feel stupid for not testing them when I received them. Folks, don't make the mistake I did buy these.

I purchased this set of 4 drivers which come with 2", 4", 6", and 12" length. The first time I used the 12" driver, the end started to spin on the driver shaft and would not drive the screw. The ends appear to be crimped on, and the crimp was slipping and would not produce enough torque. The others work just fine, and I am happy with them, but when I contacted the seller and told them that I received a defective product, the response I received was: "Dear friend, thank you very much for your support of the store. But I'm really sorry. This product cannot provide separate replacement packages. I hope for your understanding." That's all. No offer for replacement or refund or anything else. So I paid for 4 drivers, and received 3 that work. Beware. Update: The seller has offered to refund $4. The cheapest replacement I can find will cost me $11. Update: After a small amount of use, the short driver is broken - the latch mechanism no longer holds the bit in place. I recommend staying away from this product and seller. Spend a little more and get somthing that works.

These have been an amazing tool for automotive work. I use them in my m12 fuel hex drive stubby impact with a hex to 1/4” socket adapter. The only failures I’ve had have been due to asking too much from those little shanks. Commonly breaking where they lock into your tool when applying excessive force. Perfect for those smaller fasteners up to 14mm at most, anything seized can break these. I’d recommend breaking your fasteners loose with traditional ratchet and socket or a wrench, then use these on electric tool for setting fasteners and such. I first purchased this set about 2-3 years ago, again only failure has been due to excess force applied to the longest extension when I should gave gone w my 3/8” ratchet/extension/sockets on a seized fastener. Just ordered second set, this time the long extension bag shows signs of corrosion, but the tool itself does not seem corroded anywhere. Will update if anything odd is found. An essential for my tool box.

The tip of the 12” unit broke the 1st time I used it.. I contacted the company through Amazon and hrs later them made it right.. - 1st class service!!!

The shafts and the sleaves are spinning independently, so you attached a drill bit to the sleave on one end but your drill on the other end will turn the shaft only and the drill bit stay unmoved, yes it’s a stupid product, will waste your time and money.

Really like this item they are easy to use, bits come on and off with ease but after 2 days of use the top part of the rod became loose and fell off, the other 3 are good it was just the longer one that broke off.

I bought this 4-piece extension set together with a magnetic driver handle and collection of magnetic tips to handle any situation. If you've ever tried to find a long screwdriver (like 24") and then didn't even know if it was the RIGHT TIP or not, you can see why building your own long screwdriver is the BEST OPTION. These extensions have sliding-gripper connectors. They don't come loose, but where a long connection plugs in to the driver handle might, so this is where the insurance of a short piece of duct-tape keeps it all together. With the tip, extensions, and handle I can have more than a 30" reach, which is longer than I need. But who knows? Most screw-driving applications won't need an extension at all. But then suddenly, there's THE ONLY WAY you can do it: get a really long tool and a head-light!

I've only been using the shortest extension so far, and it was working well and seemed well made. But it's only as good as its weakest part, and that seems to be the spring that holds the bits in place. Yesterday the spring broke, so bits are no longer held in place. And the locking collar was the only reason I got these.

The bits wobble once inserted in the impact drill socket, and it hold bits loosely. Beyond confort and usefulness. Not that much of an issu if used wit a drill and short bits. Would return the thing if I can.

The Bit Extensions seem to be of good initial quality and lock on my 1/4" Bits quickly and tightly Only disappointment was that the set was just packaged in a series of Ziplock Bags. Would be nice to have in a Storage Set but OK value for the money
