Review: Solid budget boom arm - It's a spring boom arm that does what it's made for. Good purchase. Okay, now that the quick readers are gone, I have a few things to say. First off, I was looking for a boom arm that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and this fit the bill. It's a solid, rigid boom arm that holds its position perfectly and has a good amount of adjustability. Aesthetically, it's your standard spring arm design, so if you like that classic look and don't mind occasional spring noise if/when you bump your desk, look no further! It holds your mic at the angle you set it at, even if you raise/lower the arm, so if you're a vocalist or trying to record an acoustic guitar/bass at home, you're in good hands. My one minor complaint is the clamp itself. If you like a firmer feel, eventually the adhesive that holds the textured grip on the top portion of the clamp starts to slide loose. I wound up peeling it off because of that, and it hasn't budged since! As for the build quality of it, it's got a good weight. It's not overly heavy, nor does it feel flimsy. I'd say it's right in that Goldilocks zone. Overall, it's a well-made, classic boom arm. If you want something with hidden wires, you're not even looking here (or you shouldn't be) so if you're looking for a good, affordable boom arm, this one's a safe bet!
Review: Good Value if you have a lighter mic - Strong Tension for the Price, but Mind the Weight and Reach I’ve been putting this FIFINE arm through its paces to see how a budget-friendly option handles a more complex broadcast setup. While it's surprisingly capable, there are some clear physical boundaries you should know about before buying. The "Max Capacity" Test I tested this with an Electro-Voice RE20 equipped with a spider shock mount and a custom 3D-printed noise suppression shield. To be honest, this setup is right at the "max" of what I would comfortably trust this arm to hold. While it didn't sag, the tension is definitely pushed to its limit. If you have a lighter mic—like a standard USB condenser or a smaller dynamic mic—this arm will be effortless. But if you’re rocking a "heavyweight" setup with extra shielding, you’re hitting the ceiling of its capacity. Initial Noise and "Break-In" When I first hooked it up, the internal springs were a bit "talkative"—lots of creaks and pops during movement. However, after the springs were under tension for a bit and got "broken in," the mechanical noise disappeared. It’s now smooth and silent when I need to adjust it mid-stream. The Length Limitation The reach is the biggest potential dealbreaker. At around 26 inches, it’s a compact arm. I tried mounting it at the back of my desk behind my monitors, and it barely reached. Unless you have a small desk, you’ll likely need to mount this to the front or the side of your workspace to get the mic positioned correctly. Pros: Excellent Value: One of the most affordable ways to get a clean, spring-loaded look. Punching Above Its Weight: Can technically handle heavy pro mics, though it's clearly at its limit. Quiet After Break-In: Silent operation once the springs settle. Solid Desktop Grip: The C-clamp is sturdy and doesn't wobble under load. Cons: Short Total Reach: Not ideal for back-of-desk mounting on deep setups. Maxed Out by Heavy Mods: Adding shields or heavy shock mounts pushes the tension to the edge. Noisy Out of the Box: Expect some spring "pinging" for the first few days of use. Final Verdict: This is a fantastic "entry-level" arm that looks and feels more expensive than it is. It's perfect for lighter microphones and smaller desk setups. If you have a massive desk or a very heavy, shielded mic setup, you might want to look for something with a bit more reach and higher-tension springs, but for most creators, this is a steal.

## Features

- UPGRADED DESK CLAMP of MIC STAND- In comparison to other versions, this metal desk clamp is built with anti-scratch pad and wider mouth up to 2" to fit most desktop. It also has a fixed knob, so the swing arm does not move freely after the knob is locked.
- ANGLE ADJUSTMENT-The suspension boom arm stand provides 180° up and down rotation adjustment. The mic arm stand gives a wide extension and provides your mic with full range of motion. Attaching your mic to the arm stand (adapter included) will allow you to place the mic closer to your mouth which will result in a richer, fuller tone to your voice.
- STURDY METAL MATERIAL-Made of sturdy metal, the mic arm stand is attached with strong and elastic springs to upgrade the stability and durability of the suspension arm stand. When you unintentionally hit the desk while adjusting the arm or playing games, the stand will not shake strongly. The boom arm gives you more stable whether adjusting position, angle of arm stand or carrying and moving microphone.
- FOLDABLE AND PORTABLE-The arm stand can be folded to save more desktop space. You can also take the mic stand out for recording anytime, which suitable for people who own less desktop space. You can also put it in your bag and carry the boom arm to somewhere you want to record or podcast.
- WIDE COMPATIBILITY-Coming with 5/8'' to 3/8'' metal adapter, the extendable boom arm is compatible with many microphones, such as the Fifine K669B, K670, K683A, K658, K688, AmpliGame (A6V, A8), AM8 usb microphones. (Mics are not included.) The mic stand is greatly suitable for gaming, streaming, podcasting or more scenes, and also friendly to recording beginner.
- Tips: 1) The desk clamp is suitable for desktop with a thickness of 2’’or less. 2) The microphone is not included.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A little creaky but it gets the job done
*by A***X on September 28, 2025*

Makes a substantial amount of noise when moving the arm but its likely something you can fix with lube. Quality is pretty alright, its sturdy and fairly light. The arm has a decent amount of flexibility too. The installation was incredibly easy, but you end up having to adjust the knobs quite frequently. The price itself is alright for what you're getting.
