They interview you not just to test your familiarity with the topics, but to see how you work through the problems, analyze the information and find a reasonable solution. That's why this is a great book. It is extremely helpful to candidates who are not native speakers. The writer's explanation, again (sorry I am repeating myself), can teach you how to think out loud during the interviews, and similarly how to tackle new problems.

What Zhou has done better is his answers have very clear logics and easy-to-follow reasoning, which from what I understand is the very thing that quant interviews are meant for.
