I used them in a regular lamp and they work very well. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Poor Quality *by P***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2017* After a week of occasional use in a normal environment and with LED-compliant dimmers, out of 3 lamps I bought, 1 is out completely, 1 is running at about 50% of intensity and 1 is fine. These problems aside, dimming is not adequate - these lamps are not performing anywhere near to what incandescent bulbs do. This said, such poor performance has nothing to do with the lamps being LED - this is purely a quality issue on the manufacturing side for this particular brand/batch. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars initial quality issue but vendor corrected in a timely manner *by J***W on Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2017* Don't buy. Had three bulbs. First bulb lasted less than 3 hours connected to a Lutron dimmer switch . The light output is good but what's the point if they don't last. They will be returned .Review update 5/23/2017As soon as I posted my 1 star review and started the return process, the vendor contacted me via email to ask if I would give them the chance to resolve my problem. I informed them that out of 3 bulbs purchased, one lasted less than 3 hours. Vendor agreed to send a replacement bulb and provided a tracking #. The replacement bulb shipped from China so it took over a week to reach the East Coast. I left the remaining two bulbs switched on for over a week and those worked. No buzziing with dimmer (Lutron CFL/ LED compliant type), light output match or exceed my original 40W Philips E14 R50 halogen bulbs. The color index is also very good. Best of all , 3 bulbs on my pendant light now consumes only 15W instead of 120W.
