Daredevil By Chip Zdarsky Vol. 2: No Devils, Only God

Daredevil Volume 2 (which contains issues 6-10) builds upon the first one incredibly well and deals with Matt's inner turmoils and personal demons. The art, while (in my opinion) is not as good as the first, is still decent, and the writing continues to be strong. If you enjoyed the first volume, this is a must have!

Un volume che presenta meno azione rispetto al tp precedente. Ma comunque tanta introspezione per Matt Murdock, che inizia a vacillare sulla posizione del non essere più daredevil. Unica nota negativa: i disegni. Bruttini... Questo è un numero di pausa per Checchetto (nel 1 volume e stato fenomenale), che tornerà per fortuna nel terzo.

Matt Murdock tries to make it on his own without resorting to becoming Daredevil. He doesn't succeed. This is far better than the five issues in which Murdock spends much of his time recovering in hospital from being hit by an automobile and has Daredevil nightmares. Even so, this is not Daredevil at his best though there are some good moments. Fisk the Kingpin has certain power plays in mind that will affect the crime underworld and so make this collection more of interest to long time fans.

The comic arrived slightly damaged, it's probably due to humidity over the years. Also at the back there are two bends. The inside has no issue so that's great. And the story is great too.
